Corporate Executive Chef Scott Linquist and Dos Caminos Las Vegas Executive Chef Roberto Hernandez have created winter menu additions for the restaurant featuring seasonal ingredients including Blood Oranges, Beets: Red, Golden and Candy Cane, Artichoke Hearts, Fingerling Potatoes and West Coast Oysters.

THE BIG GAME

Dos Caminos is a prime spot for watching the big game.  On Sunday, January 7th all of the flat screens

in the lounge will be tuned in to the game and the kitchen will be serving up spicy twists on stadium favorites such as Perros Calientes: bacon wrapped jalapeno-cheddar stuffed hot dogs, Dedos De Pollo: crispy tortilla crusted chicken fingers and buckets of Dos Equis.

VALENTINE’S WEEKEND

Over Valentine’s weekend, Dos Caminos will be serving specials featuring aphrodisiac ingredients including rose petals, oysters, fig, honey, cocoa and strawberries.  To cap off the romance a Valentine’s Day brunch of decadent offerings such as Truffle Butter Poached Lobster Benedict and Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast.

THE COCKTAIL PRIMER

Eben Klemm, master mixologist for Dos Caminos and B.R. Guest, has introduced his first book, The Cocktail Primer: All You Need To Know To Make The Perfect Drink.  Klemm shows how to make these drinks at home using basic knowledge and ingredients.  Most cocktail books offer an overwhelming number of drink recipes that do nothing to help the aspiring cocktail enthusiast understand how they will taste. That is why The Cocktail Primer arranges drinks into families of classic cocktail types most people already know and work with. The drink families are grouped by style and technique, from simple to complex, with select recipes from each family.
