Fantasy Celebrates 12th Anniversary With Reveal of 2012 “Ultimate Fantasy” Calendar at the New Rice & Company

The cast of FANTASY, the sexy female revue at Luxor Hotel and Casino, debuted  their 2012 “Ultimate FANTASY” calendar Tuesday, Sept. 20 with a pre show VIP party at the new Asian bistro, Rice & Company which was celebrating its Grand Opening.

In keeping with the show’s seductive new tagline, “The Strip’s Biggest Tease,” the calendar features 12 of the show’s stunning beauties at some of the city’s most exclusive locations.

Joining the stunning ladies of Fantasy on the pink carpet were celebrities: Carrot Top, Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees, the dashing men of Thunder From Down Under and Rice & Company's Executive  Chef Tommy Gorball, who showed off the newest addition to the menu, the FANTASY roll.

Prior to heading to the Atrium Showroom for the show’s launch of four new numbers, including a solo performance by headliner Lorena Peril and a new opening number performed to an original song co-written by Peril, invited guests enjoyed several mouth watering items from Rice & Company's menu including refreshing cocktails, delectable sushi and the FANTASY roll, made lovingly with king crab, shrimp, cream cheese, asparagus, tobiko, shiso leaf roll and dressed sensually in fishnet stockings with Thai mayo and yuzu to garnish.

Celebrating 12 successful years on The Strip, FANTASY has shaped itself into one of Las Vegas’ leading topless shows showcasing 15 high-energy numbers set to a variety of today’s top music genres.   Dynamic lead singer Lorena Peril's amazing powerhouse vocals and vibrant persona adds an exciting and unforgettable element to the show as she takes center-stage alongside a cast of talented and beautiful dancers.  As the lone male member of the cast, Sean E. Cooper supplies comic relief with his humorous, highly entertaining, spot-on impressions of some of pop culture’s most recognizable personalities.

The festive atmosphere inside Rice & Company combined a classic tasting with a milestone celebration of Fantasy's 12th year on The Strip.  With its blend of classic and contemporary design features, the Asian bistro offers guests a dynamic setting to enjoy their dining experience. There are three semi-private dining rooms for business meetings, rehearsal dinners, bachelor/bachelorette parties and more, accommodating 10, 30 and 40 guests, respectively. Located on the Luxor’s second level at the entryway to The Shoppes at Mandalay Place, Rice & Company is open daily from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., and the lounge stays open until 2 a.m.

"It's amazing, it's a dream come true," remarked Fergie. "I've always wanted a wax figure. It's such an honor to have this done."

“Fergie has experienced overwhelming success as a member of The Black Eyed Peas, as a solo artist and as a fashion designer,” remarked Rosita Chapman, general manager of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.  “Her exciting and attention-grabbing persona has made her a household name around the world as well as the perfect addition to the lineup of A-list wax figures at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.”

Fergie's wax likeness is located in the attraction’s latest room - Club Tussauds,  a2,000-square-foot nightlife-themed exhibit, that hosts celebrity VIP’s such as “Eva Longoria,” “Justin Timberlake,” “Bradley Cooper,” “Jennifer Lopez,”. Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens Unveils Captivating Autumn exhibit

Attracting more than 22,000 visitors daily, Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens has unveiled an impressive autumn display celebrating the sights and colors of the crisp season. Scents of chrysanthemums, carnations and roses enchant guests while oversized oak, birch, maple and chestnut leaves cascade in translucent splendor overhead, heralding the season’s debut.

At the entrance of the Conservatory, and new to the exhibit, a grass filled meadow is home to a family of three majestic hand-planted horse sculptures – an impressive stallion and mare watching over their colt - comprised of more than 31,000 plants.

Another first for the Conservatory, a 20-foot-tall cornucopia constructed of tightly woven willow branches, lies in the north garden. A symbol of the fall harvest, the colossal cornucopia overflows with pumpkins, gourds and exotic fruit. Nearby, a 15-foot-tall scarecrow stands guard over an enormous flowering pumpkin, made from 2,000 orange carnations and seven large half-shucked corn shapes, each made of 60 pieces of native Indian corn.

In the south garden, welcoming guests with its gentle azure eyes and a whimsical smile is a 20-foot-tall fairytale talking apple tree.  Near the base of the tree more than 3,400 fresh red roses take shape to form two delicious three-foot-tall apples. An authentic Newton high-wheel wagon, circa 1870, is adorned with horse harnesses awaiting their owners’ return.

Rounding out this seasonal transformation is a towering 35-foot-tall cider mill powered by a gentle stream and surrounded by a bed of massive pumpkins, ranging in size from 300 to 1,000 pounds.

Located in the Giardini corner, the Conservatory team created a special moment in conjunction with Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art’s exhibit “A Sense of Place: Landscapes from Monet to Hockney.” The interpretation of Vik Muniz’s Seen from Montbriand (Montagne Sainte-Victorie), after Paul Cezanne (2006) uses a colorful array of flora to engage the visitor in this stunning imagery.

Inquisitive guests strolling through the Conservatory are invited to visit with Bellagio horticulturists designated as “Mr. and Mrs. Green Thumb” from 10:30 a.m. to noon daily to receive fall gardening tips along with additional information about the exhibit.

Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens' autumn display is FREE to the public and open seven days a week, 24 hours a day through November 27.
