Luxor's sexy adult revue 'Fantasy' Celebrates 11th Anniversary and 2011 Swimsuit Calendar Launch

The steamy topless adult revue Fantasy at the Luxor celebrated its 11th anniversary and 2011 Swimsuit Calendar launch party on Tuesday night, September 28. Throughout its run I have seen the show several times through different changes in the female cast and lead singer/host, and the latest, updated version starring vocalist Lorena Peril and exciting new scenes is by far the best.

Peril, with her long curly blonde locks, curvacious body, energetic and dynamic personality, is a hot and spicy Latina spitfire with a huge and powerful voice reminiscent of Christine Aguiliera. She is a great addition to the already talented and beautiful cast of females, who perform a series of sultry numbers that bring to life any hot blooded male's fantasies. The only male member of the cast, singer/dancer/impressionist Sean E. Cooper lends some comedy relief with his strong and very funny takes on James Brown, Sammy Davis Jr, Michael Jackson and Tina Turner. He also joins Peril in her rendition of Shakira's “My Hips Don't Lie” number; one of the newly added sequences that stands out as a highlight of this tantalizing, fast paced show.

Prior to the show invited guests were given a sneak peak of the highly-anticipated calendar as the ladies of FANTASY, clad in the season's hottest swimwear, walked the red carpet alongside their calendar pages. Local celebrities and entertainers also came out to show their support and walk the red carpet, including Criss Angel, Carrot Top, Thunder From Down Under, Anthony Cools, Nathan Burton, Recycled Percussion and cast members from Menopause The Musical.

Before the performance began, producer Anita Mann took to the stage where she announced the show’s partnership with Nevada Cancer Institute, in which a portion of the proceeds from the sale of FANTASY’s sizzling calendar will benefit the organization. The calendar will be available for purchase beginning October 1. Former Luxor President Felix Rappaport presented a proclamation from The City of Las Vegas that also declared September 28 “FANTASY Day”.

Immediately following the show, guests attended the VIP after party with the cast of FANTASY. Peril led in the ceremonial cutting of the cake, which included an over-the-top, custom design presented to the cast on behalf of Luxor. Guests enjoyed a fabulous spread of hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and cocktails and each received an autographed calendar and a behind-the-scenes making of the calendar video.

FANTASY performs nightly at 10:30 p.m. in the Atrium Showroom at Luxor. Tickets start at $39, plus taxes and handling fees. Guests must be 18 years of age or older.
