Republic Kitchen and Bar Opens in Henderson

Republic Kitchen and Bar, the new family friendly bistro, located in Henderson at Eastern and the 215, celebrated its Grand Opening on Wednesday evening, September 1.

The 5,900-square-foot venue is composed of two floors with the first floor main room decorated with hard wood floors, a cozy fireplace and a white brick accent wall, and a stairway leading to the Loft, a comfortable area with plush booths, high tables, a pool table, a variety of board games and big screen TV screens to enjoy Monday night football.

Chef Josh Green created a palate pleasing menu that blends down home comfort food with health conscious choices. At the Grand Opening celebration, invited guests were treated to samples of items from the menu such as tender buffalo breasts wrapped in wanton, fresh ahi tuna nachos, mini turkey club, mini Kobe beef corn dog, fried mozzarella squares, mini Miso cod on bibb lettuce, mini crab cakes, pulled chicken, pork, or steak tacos and specialties from the bar from the very friendly and accommodating staff.

Seen among the VIP guests taking in the scene and enjoying the festivities was strip headliner, comedy hypnotist, Anthony Cools, with a group of friends.

Along with dining, Republic boasts a lively bar scene seven days a week.

Republic Kitchen and Bar is open daily for lunch and dinner and offers a weekly all you can eat Republic Jazz Brunch with pricing ranging from $7.99 to $16.99. Daily happy hour specials are from 5 to 7 p.m., reverse happy hour from midnight until 2 a.m., and nightly entertainment.
