Bite Celebrates 5th Anniversary at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino.

Bite, one of the most successful shows in Las Vegas celebrated its 5th anniversary at the Stratosphere with a special performance for the media on Friday, August 14.  Prior to the start of the show Tim Molyneux, the show’s producer and writer, along with Arthur Keith President of the Stratosphere arrived on stage and invited the audience to join them in a champagne toast in honor of the celebration.

With over 1,500 performances and seen by nearly a half-million audience members since its launch on Friday the 13th, August 2004,  the powerful combination of sexy and erotic topless dancers, amazing acrobatics, high-energy rock ’n roll and the darkly mysterious allure of vampires have proven to be a formula for success.

“There are so many factors that have contributed to making Bite a success,” said Tim Molyneux, producer and writer of the show. “The world has always had a fascination with vampires – they’ve been a part of popular culture for hundreds of years and we are once again experiencing a real resurgence in television, film and print. Some people come to see BITE simply because it’s a vampire show, but ultimately they are always blown away by the production. Vampires allow us to do the things that provide the ingredients for a great Vegas show: fun music, high-energy, acrobatics in the air and on the stage, magic, martial arts, gymnastics, contortion, comedy, drama, great dancing, live singing and sexy girls. The show tells a compelling story through the lyrics of the songs and the classic vampire lore of lost love.  There’s a purpose behind everything happening and it all comes together in an experience the audience loves and won’t find anywhere else in the world,” he added.

Bite centers around the Lord Vampire and his search for the perfect female specimen, which he plans to seduce and crown his Queen of the Night. Aiding the Lord is his coven of sultry and energetic dancers, the Erotic Angels of Rock. Their story is told through Classic Rock songs of the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s such as Satisfaction, Born To Be Wild, Desperado, Stairway to Heaven, to name but a few.
