The Strat Hotel, Casino and Skypod Welcomes Celestia to the Las Vegas Strip
On Wednesday, May 29, the new international production, CELESTIA at The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod, celebrated its arrival on the Las Vegas Strip with a stunning ceremonial ribbon cutting set in front of the show’s state-of-the-art tent.

Brian Burke, executive producer of CELESTIA; Ruslan Zinurov, CEO of AllRise Financial Group; Sasha Evseeva, creative director of AllRise Financial Group; and Christopher Fiumara, vice president and general manager of The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod joined the world-renowned cast of CELESTIA to ceremoniously cut a ribbon made of stars in honor of the production’s out-of-this-world story. The breathtaking ceremony was capped off with contortionists from CELESTIA shooting arrows while streamers jubilantly flew over the heads of guests in attendance.
The cast then moved inside the CELESTIA tent to perform an exclusive sneak preview of three jaw-dropping acts in the show, including the Wheel of Death act; Sergey and Sasha, the hand and head balancing father-daughter duo featured on seasons 10 and 13 of “America’s Got Talent,” and the Sandou Trio Russian Bar, who appeared on seasons 3 and 11 of “America’s Got Talent,” as well as the hit film, “The Greatest Showman.”
CELESTIA, an all-new, one-of-a-kind immersive production experience, will debut its grand opening at The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod Wednesday, June 5. Produced by Intrigue Shows, this tour de force of acrobatics, technology, artistry and imagination will perform eight shows a week in a unique 30,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art theatrical tent located along the Las Vegas Strip.

On Friday, May 31, GRAMMY Award-winning artist/producer, The Chainsmokers, took over Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas to celebrate the official worldwide premiere of their new Viva Vision light and sound show. During the event, fans gathered around 3rd Street Stage to witness the mesmerizing, six-minute musical montage featuring the EDM duo’s chart-topping hits, including “Closer,” “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Something Just Like This.”

Spanning five city blocks 90 feet above one of the most vibrant streets in Las Vegas, the Viva Vision canopy illuminates the pedestrian mall with dazzling, high-resolution imagery and a state-of-the-art, concert-quality sound system. Renovations to the city-owned Viva Vision canopy, which will be completed for the unveiling on Dec. 31, 2019, are being done in sections to ensure visitors can enjoy the light shows throughout the entire process.
The Chainsmokers’ light and sound show is the first compilation to debut since the start of a $32 million renovation to the iconic Viva Vision canopy. Visitors can enjoy the complimentary musical montage seven days a week along with existing shows from artists such as Green Day, Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Tiesto and more.

Chef, restaurateur, New York Times Best-Selling author and Emmy Award-winning TV personality Guy Fieri was honored on Wednesday, May 22, with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. To celebrate the occasion here in Las Vegas, his Vegas Kitchen & Bar team at The LINQ Hotel + Experience commemorated the honor with their own star--made of cake.

Fieri is only the third chef to receive a star, joining fellow Caesars Entertainment chef and restaurateur, Bobby Flay. The star was presented to Fieri by close friend and Academy Award-winning actor, Matthew McConaughey. Fieri posted a short video of this on his Twitter account.
Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night bites from 8 a.m. to midnight. The restaurant is adjacent to the popular Carnaval Court at Harrah’s and The LINQ Hotel + Experience’s main entrance.

SHARK REEF AQUARIUM - Friday, June 7 from10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Behind the scenes tours will be offered every half-hour that will provide a glimpse into the complexity and challenges of creating an ocean in the desert. Additional activities will take place in the Shark Reef classroom, featuring rock painting and other crafts along with educational information for adult guests. Tours offered every half-hour beginning at 10:30 a.m. to guests 13 years and older with aquarium admission – space is limited. SIEGFRIED & ROY’S SECRET GARDEN AND DOLPHIN HABITAT -Friday, June 7 – Sunday, June 9. Exhibits and activities available daily 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Guests are invited to come face to face with exotic animals including a family of bottlenose dolphins, white tigers, white lions and leopards. The District at Green Valley Ranch will host a series of five FREE ‘80s MOVIE NIGHTS outdoors on the green behind Whole Foods Market beginning at sundown each Saturday in June.
