X Burlesque Celebrates 13 Years on The Las Vegas Strip

 X Burlesque, the most provocative show on the Las Vegas strip  celebrated their 13 yr anniversary, what they are calling its "Lucky 13", in Las Vegas, Thursday, May 7 at Flamingo Las Vegas.

The topless show features a cast of beautiful and talented dancers performing steamy choreography that cater to every man's fantasies. Several new dance numbers have been added to the production including a seductive feather fan number to the tune of Beyonce’s “Haunted,” an over-the-top chair number to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” and a sexy fashion show of stunning diamond studded costumes to Rhianna’s “Diamonds.” X Burlesque is also the first topless show in Las Vegas to add projection mapping to the choreography.

In honor of our ‘lucky 13th’ anniversary in Las Vegas, we’ve once again added sultry new dance numbers,” said X Burlesque Creator and Producer, Angela Stabile. “We strive to keep the show fresh and exciting with dance numbers no other shows have. We’re often imitated, but never duplicated.”

In attendance was the sexy cast from X Rocks, the cast of Puppetry Of The Penis, professional BMX rider and reality television star Ricardo Laguna, Piff the Magic Dragon and cast members from Sexxy, among others.

X Burlesque is performed nightly at 10 p.m. inside the X Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas. Tickets are $55.95, $79.95 and $86.27 plus tax and fees and can be purchased at the Flamingo Box Office. Journey and Neal Schon Unveil Memorabilia Cases at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas

In honor of the band’s nine-show residency at The Joint, legendary rock group Journey unveiled its memorabilia case at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Wednesday afternoon, May 6.

Chas Smith, vice president of entertainment at Hard Rock Hotel, was on hand to introduce Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Ross Valory, Deen Castronovo and Arnel Pineda to the crowd of cheering fans. Smith recognized the band for its current residency at the award-winning entertainment venue, including sold-out shows on Saturday, May 9 and Saturday, May 16, as well as the property’s memorabilia curators, Warwick Stone and Beau Dobney, who masterfully created the display. Afterwards, the band pulled down the curtain to unveil the case and took turns on the mic to explain what memorabilia they chose to showcase including:

.Schon’s Paul Reed Smith custom guitar and Jordan Betten designed leather pants and jacket

.Cain’s sequential circuits “Prophet 5” keyboard used on “Faithfully,” “Open Arms” and “Who’s Crying Now”

.Valory’s early 80s Steinberger bass guitar used mainly for the Frontiers album and tour;

.Castronovo’s custom DW snare drums used on tours and the Arrival, Red 13 and Generations albums;

.Pineda’s leather vest, red pants and white Converse sneakers worn during the 2009 “Live in Manila” performance.

The case, located in The Joint hallway, also features iconic items from the band’s history including its Hollywood Walk of Fame star, the plaque Matt Lauer presented to the group during their performance on the TODAY show in recognition of 4.6 million digital song sales of “Don’t Stop Believin’,” the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame induction award presented to the band this week and MUCH more.

Following the Journey unveiling, Schon led fans to his own display case, which features four custom guitars from his personal collection. Stone addressed the crowd to let guests know that this is the first time Hard Rock Hotel has ever displayed memorabilia that is also available for purchase. The guitars range from $40,000 to $125,000 and if they are bought during Journey’s residency, the buyer will get to meet Schon and receive a replica Journey PLATINUM record.

Friends of the Shade Tree celebrated the 13th Annual ‘Girls Night Out’ Charity Gala at Hyde Bellagio on Wednesday night, May 6.

The evening began with red carpet arrivals of Las Vegas celebrities including the ladies of FANTASY at Luxor, Miss Nevada USA Brittany McGowan, Emmy-award winning anchor Jason Feinberg and Ms. Asian Las Vegas and co-owner of The Juice Standard, Jamie Stephenson.

As the largest fundraising event for the nonprofit organization, the soiree featured Feinberg as emcee, entertainment from headliner Daniel Park, a live auction hosted by celebrated auctioneer, Christian Kolberg, plus a silent auction. Hundreds of guests, including media personalities Kim Wagner of News 3 KSNV-TV, Denise Valdez of 8 News Now KLAS-TV and Rachel Smith of Fox 5 Vegas KVVU-TV, sampled a variety of passed hors d’oeuvres, including vegetable pot stickers, sparerib skewers, tempura shrimp with caramel sauce, bruschetta, ahi tuna on a wonton crisp and antipasto skewers. Guests also enjoyed a signature mashed potato “martini” bar, complete with all of the fixings, including mushrooms in a red wine sauce, housemade gravy and fried chicken. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts ended the meal on a sweet note by providing guests with bowls of their signature glazed doughnut holes. Throughout the evening, guests also sipped on champagne, wine and handcrafted cocktails including the Pretty in Pink and Shade-tini, provided by Southern Wine and Spirits.

Throughout the evening, guests bid on raffle, live and silent auction items that included a dinner for ten guests hosted by Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla, the fine dining duo behind Andiron Steak & Sea, Honey Salt and Made L.V., in a private residence; a Wheels Up private aviation charter to an exclusive vacation destination; Breakfast at Tiffany’s and a $2,500 shopping experience for six guests; premium handbags of the latest fashions from the spring collections by designers Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Celine, Fendi, Givency, Louis Vuitton and others; VIP tickets to Rock in Rio and more.

The event raised $170,000 to benefit domestic violence victims, as well as their children and pets.

Tyson Beckford Joins the Cast of Men of Chippendales as Celebrity Guest

Super model, fashion icon, and actor, Tyson Beckford, joined the cast of The Men of Chippendales at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas as a Special Celebrity Guest Star for a limited four-week engagement, beginning April 30 through May 24th.

To celebrate his appearance in the sexy male revue, a special red carpet event was held on Friday evening May 1, the second night of Beckford's engagement.   The high energy, fully choreographed, interactive show features some of the most hottest men in the world whose perfect balance of sex appeal, dance moves and tasteful teasing as cowboys, firemen and naval officers, draws waves of screams from the excited audience filled with women of all ages. PUPPETRY OF THE PENIS, the internationally-acclaimed phenomenon that Vanity Fair called “Dementedly Good Fun!” opened at The Jewel Box at 3275 South Industrial Road on Wednesday, April 15.  The show features the Ancient Australian Art of Genital Origami, an astounding series of penis installations that requires astonishing stamina, an unbelievable stretch factor and an amazing level of testicular fortitude. With more than 40 heroic and hilarious installations, including crowd pleasers, tourist attractions and food products, such as “The Pelican,” “The Windsurfer,” “The Eiffel Tower,” “The Loch Ness Monster” and their signature creation, “The Hamburger”Puppetry of the Penis leaves both women and men gasping.  PUPPETRY OF THE PENIS is a non-sexual adult show that is performed Wednesdays through Mondays (dark Tuesdays) at 8 p.m.

The hit show, “RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT” , which boasts the greatest set list of all time and celebrates rock anthems from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s,  will offer COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS TO TEACHERS IN MAY in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Month.  All teachers can receive two tickets to the show with a Teachers Union card or CCSD ID throughout the month of May. In honor of NATIONAL MILITAIRY APPRECIATION MONTH, USO Las Vegas is rallying the Southern Nevada community to help make “A MILLION MOMENTS IN MAY” a part of the USO’s national  Every Moment Counts campaign. Our community is asked to help USO Las Vegas create moments that matter for the brave men and women of the armed forces who sacrifice countless moments fighting to protect our freedom.

 Throughout the month of May, USO Las Vegas will be collecting donations and asking the public to sign “Support our Troops” pinup cards at any of the three Crazy Pita Rotisserie & Grill locations or any of the five Remedy’s, Distill, and Elixir bar/restaurants. The public can also make monetary donations to USO Las Vegas at any of the twenty-four Hudson or Hudson News travel convenience stores throughout McCarran International Airport.

 USO Las Vegas is also launching a “Thank a Troop” Photo Project and asking all our supporters to snap a picture of themselves, sign it, and write a message thanking our local troops for their service. USO Las Vegas will post all photos on their “Every Moment Counts” wall inside the USO Terminal 1 Airport Lounge at McCarran International Airport for display throughout the month of May!

BRITNEY SPEARS has canceled her “Britney: Piece of Me” performance scheduled for Wednesday, May 6 inside The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.  The show will be rescheduled for a later date. Britney’s doctor advised her not to perform Wednesday evening so that she may continue to heal from an ankle injury sustained during her performance last week.  Ticketmaster and The AXIS Box Office will contact ticket holders and issue exchanges or refunds. A trio of comedians will perform inside the LAUGH FACTORY Monday through Sunday (May 11—May 17), at the New Tropicana Hotel, with comedy star BASILE headlining what is sure to be a great week of rib tickling humor.  Writer and professional stand-up comedienne, TRACI SKENE will be hosting the show that also features SPENCER JAMES. The College of Southern Nevada Department of Fine Arts will host an EXHIBITION OF ARTWORK BY CAZENOVIA COLLLEGE ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION AND INTERIM DIVISION CHAIR OF ART AND DESIGN, ALLYN STEWART. Stewart’s mixed and digital collage explores the relationship between landscape, geography, and becoming lost. Allyn Stewart: Un-°©‐Mapping the Landscape, will begin Friday, May 15, and will run through Saturday, June 27, 2015.

The CSN Artspace Gallery Is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are from 8 a.m. To 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. To 5 p.m. Saturday. The Artspace Gallery is located upstairs above the main entrance lobby on the North Las Vegas Cheyenne campus at 3200 E. Cheyenne Avenue, one mile East of I‐15 North.

TIME TRAVELERS FOUNDATION will be invading the Las Vegas Valley on Saturday, May 16th with volunteers handing out gift bags to anyone and everyone as a random act of kindness.  Time Travelers will be distributing bags throughout the city to SPREAD AWARENESS ON EPILEPSY that affects over 65 million people worldwide. Time Travelers Foundation is a nonprofit organization that educates the public about the dangers of epilepsy, and motivates those who suffer with the condition. Over 1,000 bags have been donated from various sponsors that range from Evian Water, StubHub, LVCVA, and local businesses. On Saturday, May 16 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, the LAS VEGAS NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM, located in downtown Las Vegas at 900 Las Vegas Blvd. North, adjacent to Cashman Field, will host a SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT AND BOOK SIGNING with the world-famous paleontologist DR. JACK HORNER.  Dr. Horner will discuss why bony features such as horns, plates, shields, and spikes were not used for defense or any kind of combat.

 Dr. Horner discovered the first dinosaur eggs in the Western Hemisphere, the first evidence of dinosaur colonial nesting, the first evidence of parental care among dinosaurs, and the first dinosaur embryos. He is widely regarded as one of the world’s foremost paleontologists, noted for his dramatic field work and some of the best reconstructions of fossil dinosaurs ever assembled. Dr. Horner served as the technical advisor for Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park movies and is the inspiration for the movie’s lead character Dr. Alan Grant. He has the honor of having two species of dinosaurs named after him.

This lecture and book signing are free with paid admission and will take place at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. Admission is $10 for adults; $8 for students, seniors, and military; and $5 for children ages 3–11.  Children 2 and under are free.  Admission covers access to the entire Museum.  Hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm daily.  Registration is required to save a seat. He enjoyed a late night meal after partying all day across the street at Rock in Rio USA, one of the largest music festivals in the world boasting hundreds of thousands of attendees.

To close out a monumental Fight Weekend at SLS Las Vegas, Cash Money EDM duo The Stafford Brothers and chart-topping Def Jam rapper Jeremih performed side-by-side at Vegas’ hottest new dayclub, Foxtail Pool Club.  The Stafford Brothers kicked off the day with an energetic set featuring some of the hottest beats in EDM before Hip Hop moguls Jeremih, 50 Cent and DJ Mustard took over the stage.

International recording artist Chris Brown headlined a full-length live concert to a sold out crowd at Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub atop The Cromwell.

An entourage of other highly respected rappers, musicians and athletes joined Brown on stage for the performance, including rapper 50 Cent (who performed a headlining concert at Drai’s the night before – Friday, May 1), singer Akon, rappers Tyga and Too Short, basketball player Russel Westbrook and rapper Busta Rhymes (who headlined his own concert at Drai’s tonight – Sunday, May 3).

A barrage of excited attendees, including 40-year-old Golden Globe winner Drew Barrymore flocked to Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub just across the casino floor within MGM Grand. As Barrymore and husband, Will Kopelman, arrived with several friends, the group headed straight up to the venue’s fifth level mezzanine to experience a pulse-pumping, high-energy set by resident DJ Calvin Harris.

Rapper Fabolous hosted the season grand opening and performed at TAO Beach during the afternoon. DJ Khaled was spotted taking in the sun soaked scene as was Antoine Bethea, safety for the San Francisco 49ers.

After the bout, Warner Music owner Len Blavatnik, Fox chair Rupert Murdoch, business magnate Ron Burkle, actor Bradley Cooper and director Spike Lee were all spotted dining at separate tables at TAO Asian Bistro.

Snoop Dogg took over TAO nightclub for a special fight weekend edition of The Snoopadelic Cabaret.  There he performed some of his biggest hits while also spinning a specially curated set for a crowd that included Spike Lee and Flava Flav, along with Michael Strahan.

D’USSE presented a fight weekend party at Marquee Las Vegas hosted by Jay Z  Jay Z and Beyonce never stopped dancing in her seat at their VIP table near the DJ booth, welcomed friends and family including her mother and her new husband, who stayed close throughout the night.

Earlier in the day Carnage manned the decks at Marquee Dayclub, spinning for a crowd that included brothers Nick and Joe Jonas, who were spotted taking in the scene from a cabana.

Justin Bieber took over REHAB, the dayclub at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, to host one of Las Vegas’ hottest fight weekend parties.

On the red carpet, Bieber posed for photos with Australian model Shanina Shaik, actor Kyle Massey, Vine superstar Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor, co-founder of Shots Sam Shahidi and others. The group then headed into REHAB where they were joined by Corey Gamble. Resident DJ Loczi dropped Bieber’s song, “Wait For A Minute,” as he and a friend ran back and forth across the stage to scope out the crowd.

Before breaking down the “fight of the century” between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, boxing Hall of Fame sportscaster Al Bernstein visited the Palazzo Broadcast Studio inside Lagasse’s Stadium to speak with Ken Thomson of Yahoo! Sports Radio.  Bernstein took questions from the crowd at Lagasse’s Stadium inside The Palazzo, and also gave away his keys to the fight for each fighter. He did not give his official prediction on who he believed would win the fight.

Basketball stars P.J. Tucker and Jermaine O’Neal also visited the broadcast booth to discuss the exciting weekend in Las Vegas with Yahoo! Sports Radio’s Ken Thomson.

Co-star of Furious 7, Tyrese, who was joined by Tank and Red Café, hosted the first event of the fight weekend parties at Hard Rock Hotel inside Vanity Nightclub.

Puff Daddy hosted a private fight-weekend bash at LAVO presented by Stephen Espinoza, the executive vice president and general manager of Showtime Sports.

Notable names who converged on the event to launch the historic fight weekend with Espinoza included Bradley Cooper, Jerry Bruckheimer and Brett Ratner, along with famed retired boxer Lennox Lewis, Swizz Beatz, DJ Khaled, Fabolous, Carnage, Tyrese and Cassie as DJ MOS had the entire club dancing.

Earlier in the night David Spade was spotted dinner at LAVO  with friends. DJ Khaled also dined at the Italian eatery before kicking off his We The Best: Vegas Edition exclusive residency at TAO.

Former NBA star Dennis Rodman was spotted dining with friends at TAO Asian Bistro. Also having dinner at TAO was Quad Webb-Lunceford of Bravo’s Married to Medicine.

At Marquee Nightclub, Grammy-winning producer, DJ and singer Mark Ronson manned the decks in the main room. Jeremy Lin, guard for the LA Lakers was spotted at Marquee with twenty friends, taking in the sounds of Ronson.

Kicking off three days and three nights of world-class entertainment in celebration of Fight Weekend,  Drai's Beachclub/Nightclub at the Cromwell  hosted a full-length live concert by rapper 50 Cent.  Joining 50 Cent at both the VIP tables and on stage were rappers Tyga, Busta Rhymes, Twista and Yo Gotti. The concert was opened with a special DJ set from Funkmaster Flex. Other celebrities who stopped by to take in all the action included: actor Omari Hardwick; NFL player for Baltimore Ravens Terrell Suggs; actress KD Aubert; and reality star Natalie Nunn.

Some of the biggest stars on television enjoyed a night out at Hakkasan Las Vegas inside MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.  Showtime’s “Ray Donovan” star and two-time Golden Globe nominee Liev Schreiber arrived to the restaurant just before 9 p.m. for a relaxing evening with friends, in town to attend the highly-anticipated Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight.

Just a table away was a handful of Showtime’s biggest and brightest stars including “Homeland’s” Claire Danes joined by husband, actor Hugh Dancy, along with “House of Lies” cast members Josh Lawson and Ben Schwartz. Also dining at the table was the up-in-coming actress and recent Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez from the CW’s “Jane the Virgin”. The Showtime group left the restaurant just after midnight as they were escorted to Ling Ling Club inside Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub to hear DJ Ruckus spin into the early morning hours.

Earlier in the evening just after 8 p.m., CBS “The Talk” lead anchor Julie Chen dined with her husband Les Moonves, Pres.and CEO of CBS. Wheel of Fortune longtime host Pat Sajack was also in attendance with a few close companions before leaving the restaurant around 10 p.m.

Former “American Idol” finalist and actress Katharine McPhee was spotted dining at Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant inside MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.
