In celebration of the film's completion, A Wrap Party for the indie drama/thriller “Accused” was held on Saturday evening, April 3 at the home of the film's executive producer/writer Chris Battle in the southwest part of town. The guest list included the the film's director/indie filmmaker Marko Sakren, co-producer Patty Fantasia, the cast of local Las Vegas actors (many of whom are recognizable from commercials and shows up and down the strip),including Sarah Saunders, Rosemary Rock, Brenda Whitehead, Timery Middleton, Lynn Steinhurst, Ross Alzina and Stu Chaiken plus several important behind the scenes people whose input helped make it all possible: the film's music composer Dave Rosen, sound mixer Dan Cristinou; George Tesoro who handled lighting as the film's gaffer and Joshua Brokaw, who took care of the Special Effects makeup needs. Along with great food and drinks, the crowd of over fifty guests were treated to an outstanding vocal performance by Steinhurst who blew everyone way with her beautiful rendition of Come Rain or Come Shine. Shortly afterwards, the audience got to see the film which, at the end, was met with applause.

Accused was shot over four days in November 2009, primarily on an eight acre ranch in the Sandy Valley area, just south of Las Vegas. The balance of the shoot was filmed at a Las Vegas residence near UNLV, a drive- through window of a wedding chapel, a stone's throw from city hall, and at the iconic Las Vegas sign on south Las Vegas Boulevard.

Director, Marko Sakren said that while shooting at the wedding chapel's drive-through window, just after the camera's had been strategically placed and the set 'lit', a couple drove up wanting to get married. The cast and crew of course obliged and went with the flow and wished the couple well. All took it as a good omen. It was the last night of the shoot and everyone was in a festive mood.

The film was produced by Illusion City Films LLC, which plans to enter ACCUSED in several nationwide film festivals and promote through on-line social media sites.
