Brick walls frame the venue, giving the space a classic, East Coast atmosphere while the interior is decorated in patriotic chic with red, white and blue accents.
Along with dining and enjoying a refreshing beverage, sports fans can also enjoy games on several 55-inch flat-panel televisions throughout the restaurant as well as a TV wall centered in the middle of the restaurant.
“The Public House brand has established itself for having a fun, laid-back atmosphere to enjoy cocktails and comfortable food,” said Gary Cardi, owner of Public House Las Vegas. “We look forward to bringing that same experience to Las Vegas and we couldn’t have found a better home than Luxor Hotel and Casino.”
During the Grand Opening celebration on Friday, September 13, invited guests were treated to an array of items from the extensive menu including generous servings of pita topped with hummus, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, and red peppers; deep fried macaroni and cheese squares; Philly cheesesteak spring rolls; grilled pesto chicken salad with honey basil pesto, golden raisins and apples, served on soft wheat bread; Public House nachos topped with sour cream jalapeno and tomatoes; and spinach and artichoke dip served with tortilla chips for dipping. The menu also features an array of starters such as the Hummus Plate, served with olive salad, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese and pita bread; chipotle peppers and jalapeño jack cheese served with chipotle ketchup; and Buffalo Shrimp, four jumbo shrimp, Danish bleu cheese and house hot sauce.

Communities In Schools of Nevada Expands CIS Academy Program With $178,000 From AT&T
At a press event at Canyon Springs High School, on Tuesday, September 11, AT&T presented a check for $178,000 to Communities In Schools of Nevada (CISN) as a part of the AT&T Aspire program. CISN will use the contribution to grow the CIS Academy at Canyon Springs High School in Las Vegas and at Spring Creek High School in Elko.
CISN accepted the contribution and announced student improvement results in attendance and suspensions that have contributed to their 94 percent graduation rate.
“It is because of AT&T’s past support through its Aspire program that we can continue to expand our outreach and help students graduate,” said Elaine Wynn, National Chair of Communities In Schools. “Our work is about believing in our students and giving that extra push forward to help them succeed.”
Because of its solid record of proven results, Communities In Schools of Nevada was named as one of 47 recipients nationwide that will share in nearly $10 million from AT&T. With more than 1 million students impacted since its launch in 2008, the AT&T Aspire program is one of the largest corporate commitments focused on helping more students graduate from high school ready for college and careers. AT&T announced an additional quarter-billion-dollar expansion to the program earlier this year, bringing the total commitment to $350 million.
“We are fortunate to be a part of Communities In Schools of Nevada as they serve students and spark change in the Clark County School District and across the state. They have become a national model in helping students graduate that we proudly support,” said Stephanie Tyler, president - AT&T Nevada.
Educators in schools and non-profits across the country have a unique understanding of the challenges students face in their communities. Through a competitive process, 47 schools and non-profits, including CISN, were selected from thousands nationwide.
Applicants were evaluated based on their accomplishments in serving students at risk of dropping out of high school and their ability to use data to demonstrate the effectiveness of their work. After a rigorous and competitive process, CISN was identified as making a real difference in its community by supporting and motivating traditionally underserved students to stay in school and prepare for the next step in life.
