All of those Fighting females with the WFA are all most beautiful. Recently spotted them at the Palms, the most "in" Hotel for young people and celebrities. Noticed that Academy Award producer Robert Evans was getting his 7th divorce. One of my scarier moments as a Hollywood talent agent was when Evans called and asked me to bring my pictures of all my female clients to his home. Then he led me to his home office which was apart from his home. He said all of the "things" I did not want to hear - then he said he would go to the house and bring back "stuff" that I also did not want to hear about. So the minute he left, I tore out of their by going through the big hedge of roses and literally tore all my arms and escaped back to my car. But at least he did not come to the door buck naked as one producer did . I learned the hard way to never go to homes to do business as an agent.

Handsome young Johnny Brenden , the owner of the Brenden chain of movie theaters with his beautiful girlfriend, Diva and star Dean Cain. Dean Cain when he was a "Superman" has his star of fame at the Palms. Executive Chef , Joe Romano of all of the new P.T. Pubs springing up around Las Vegas is with ll of his very attractive waitress. Notice this photo from 1953 - it is one of Las Vegas most popular entertainers appearing often at the Orleans and still making movies. Answer is at the bottom of this article. "The new "Phantom of the Opera" at the Venetian Hotel was a spectacular that only Las Vegas could produce. Guest entered the ballroom through the Phantom’s lair, a candle-lit "tunnel" with rolling knee high fog. Of course creator Andrew Lloyd Webber and director Hal Prince were there and seated with famous comedy star Carol Burnett.

Another Hollywood great has died - Aaron Spelling. Spelling was one of Hollywood’s most prolific TV producers ("Beverly Hills 90210", "Love Boat", "Fantasy Island, Charlie’s Angeles", etc. Spelling ‘s first marriage was to Carolyn Jones, whom he not only fell in love with and married but had her acting in all of his projects. Carolyn died young and she was from my hometown in Texas. Perhaps she died from malnutrition and TB. All of us (including myself) who lived through those black dust storms during the depression lived in poverty. Aaron could relate to that as one of the very few Jewish boys in his home-town and had known plenty about being a poor outcast. However in the end Spelling owned the largest private home in California. I was in the house once and it was spectacular. Inge Jaglin, Executive with the Southern California Motion Council was in town and took me with her to the Lance Burton stunning Anniversary show at the Monte Carlo Hotel. Inge really thought he might could have been killed in the locomotion magic act. Lance is now the outstanding magic star of the Las Vegas strip. When he married the "First Lady of Magic," Melinda Saxe, about 8 years ago, I had a lengthy interview with Melinda and she was so excited and in love with him and gave me a picture of herself and Lance on a cloud together for the column. Two days later they announced they
were getting a divorce! Much speculation at the time about the sudden decision. Successful LV. publisher Karen Foster will be receiving a fine award from the California Motion Picture Council in December. This photo of Corinne Horney Jones, a Las Vegas beauty is at her coronation as Playmate of the Year with Hugh Hefner several years ago. But now she is often seen at the Palms Hotel with all of the activities George Maloof and Hef are doing with Hef’s Playboy Boy Club and Playboy slots. Corinne is a screen writer now and still as beautiful as ever. Jackie Brett was registered with me when I was the first Director of Playboy Models on West Coast. She was very popular and in demand but she decided to go an entirely different route with her life. She moved to Las
Vegas and has always had important jobs. She is the current Entertainment and P.R. Director at the Imperial Palace. Her new book is coming out and the booking signing will be at Mandalay Bay on July 15th in the Reading Room. Jackie is another one of those forever beautiful ladies.

The Exotic World Burlesque Museum, the world’s largest collection of vintage burlesque has moved to Las Vegas. It was the 49th Annual striptease Reunion -the oldest and most prestigious gathering of its kind and the 16th Annual Miss Erotic Pageant of current beautiful young stripers as well as the oldest. Liz Renay (80) stole the show by being carried in like she was Cleopatra and the handsome fellows carrying her in on the royal pillow. The "Hunks" were four very handsome young fellows and all they had on were jeweled jock straps. One of the oldest other stripper needs to hang up her g-string. She wore what appeared to be a net body suit over a full covered body suit and walked around picking up scarves and more scarfs. Now this week, Renay’s first of around 100 B type movies will be shown in Las Vegas at the Tropiciana Theatre. This
one will be "Thrill killers."

Bruce Merrin, for 33 years one of the most prolific, successful P.R. person and owns the largest speakers Bureau for booking superstars, Presidents, Sports figure. Now his son Adam Merrin with his Band "88" (for 88 notes on a "piano) will be on the David Letterman show in August and have been seen and heard recently on "The Late Late Show with "Craig Ferguson and "Jimmy Kimmel Live".

If you want to really know all about the insides of your body - then you can at the "Bodies" exhibit at the Tropicana Hotel - it is stunning display of real cadavers and about 11 rooms of dissected bodies (the bodies from China). My good friend and nurse Kathy Reams thought it would be great for every nurse to see as well as we other curious human beings.
