Club a Place for Sports Personalities
In town where just about every hotel has a club, Jay Z producer and mega-star
has brought a club that caters to sports personalities.
40/40 is located inside the Palazzo and its soft opening on the 31 of December.
Unlike Planet Hollywood where the big mega-stars graced the red carpet, the
40/40 club had music headliners walking down there carpet, which included
Beyonce , Neyo , Flava Flav, Mary J. Blige among many others. Jay z under all
odds became very successful as a rapper who came from the streets of New York.
he became one of the most recognized figures in the rap world and retired in
2003 to assume the presidency of Def Jam either working with or producing such
artist as Ludachris, Missy Elliott Timbaland, Swizz Beats, Clark Kent, Snoop
Dogg along with Kanye West. But we must not forget his association with Beyonce
in which he has known her over 5 years. This certainly shows another side of the
tuff but fair international businessman. Whether you’re a sports fan or a music
lover, 40/40 is a sports lounge with a club atmosphere that has a different

Liberace Museum
Kicks off 2008 Cabaret
The Liberace museum adds another festivity to its calendar of events on January
13 from noon to 4p.m. The museum will present Bruce Ewing as the first feature
performer for to 2008 cabaret series. Keep in mind that this is also Bruce Ewing
birthday. Ewing is asking all guests to donate money rather than a gift, in
order for him to donate to the Liberace Foundation. Admission to the event is
free for Nevada residents and their guests as a part of the Liberace museums
monthly second Sunday event.
Why Do Men Fail
With Women?
It’s not often that you don’t hear men complaining about their relationships
with either girlfriends or wives about their relationship not succeeding. For
one, when a man is overly nice to a woman it not only makes a woman suspicious
but it turns her off in many instances. Either the attraction is there for the
women or she’s not interested. The majority of women are attractive to men who
respect their bodies in terms of physical appearance and know the direction
their taking in life.
Secondly, men should not try to convince a woman to like them. Either she likes
you or it’s not going to work.
Third, seeking their approval lowers a women’s respect for the man they
tend to get annoyed.
Fourth, it’s not uncommon for a man to buy affection by taking a lady to an
expensive restaurant and showering her with gifts. These types of actions are
over compensating the lady because of the insecurities of a man and their also
weak attempts of there manipulations.
Five, when you first meet someone don’t share how you feel about them this sets
up the caution flag. After all, attractive women are being approached all the
time. It’s much better for the man to control his emotions and be cool, calm and
collective.
Six, don’t set off signals which are sexual attractions most women get
approached the majority of times on a sexual note the truth of the matter is
that most women are attracted to a good personality.
Seven, it’s important to demand respect by not letting a women walk all over you
stand up for your beliefs and always respect theirs.
Eight, women are ten times better than men at reading body language. We suggest
that you make your conversations interesting and know exactly what to do in each
step of getting to know your lady friend.
These are a few of the steps that you can take to either make your relationship
a success or at least meet a lady that you want to get to know.
The Evil Knievel
I Knew
I met Evil Knievel about 15 years ago through his son Robby Knievel. At that
time Evil was playing a lot of golf tournaments and had wanted to start a chain
of restaurants. We would often meet at the Maxim Hotel now known as the Westin
Hotel. Evil was the kind of guy that would tell you exactly how he felt. Of
course after a few drinks his views were a bit slanted. However he was a man who
faced death many times including breaking 40 of his bones.
Evil was known as the greatest dare devil that ever existed, so it’s
understandable why he tended to drink too much. Evil Knievel had his own TV
shows, his own toy line and his 1974 attempt to jump Snake River Canyon at Twins
Falls Idaho, was one of the 20 most watched on ABC’s Wild World of Sports events
to date. Evil set the stage for dare devils and no one can ever take that from
him. One must remember at the time he was jumping, motorcycles didn’t have great
suspension systems as they do today. Yet the fact that Gary Maddison broke the
record, jumping the length of an entire football field on New Years Eve, didn’t
have quite the dramatic effect as when Evil jumped the fountains at Caesars
Palace. Never the less Madison did break the record and that’s a fact.
Referring back to the person Evil Knievel, he really cared for kids and actually
regretted some of the things he did in his life. He would always worry about his
son Robby ending up as he did. I remember Evil as the “Ambassador” of Good Will.
Yes he did have his faults and don’t we all, but in the end he was a God fearing
man who believed in peace and harmony for all nations.
