Tony
Pace
Tony Pace, “The Man with the Voice” is very entertaining. His
Improvisational one man show, “Up on the Roof” is fabulous and commands
a standing ovation at the end of each show. The stage is designed like a
roof top on a brick building with clothes hanging on a clothes line and
a TV antenna. www.tonypace.com

Tony reminisces about his desire to be in show business. I remembered my
roof top experience years ago, because my roof top looked just like his.
I’m sure many hopes and dreams were created there.
His comedy includes audience participation and that makes for a
different show every night. Tony’s voice is magical and his impressions
of Michael Jackson, Elvis, Louis Armstrong, Willie Nelson and Julio
Iglesias are just a few that are dead on. His impression of William
Hung, of Idol fame, singing “She Bangs” is hilarious.

While we were taping our radio show, I asked him to imitate me, and lo
and behold, he did. He sounded just like me. I’m convinced he can
imitate anyone. Tony is a master of voice impersonations. He does over
30 different voices along with singing and his wild comedic skits.

My favorite part of the show was when Tony sang “Music of the Night”
from “Phantom of the Opera”. He captured my heart with his magnificent
rendition, which was comparable to the original in The Phantom. To hear
Tony sing the entire song go to

Tony Pace is just as funny off stage. We were privileged to have had a
personal ringside seat to a private show in our radio studio. I will be
a fan forever and I am anxiously awaiting his next show in Las Vegas. He
certainly deserves to be a headliner in one of the strip hotels. He said
he wants to keep what Las Vegas was and still should be, by keeping the
entertainment here. Come on guys. What are you waiting for?

At the end of his show you hear his mother calling him home. That is
what Las Vegas should do; call Tony home.
The
Showgirlz & The Sandvipers
In January 2000 Norine Rathbone joined the men’s senior softball league,
The Sandvipers. She is 50 years old and the rest of the players are half
her age. By the end of 2000 she was diagnosed with cancer and had a dual
mastectomy. We referred to her as a cancer survivor and she said she was
a breast cancer fighting champion. This didn’t stop her from playing her
favorite sports.

Norine will be an honored athlete when she partners up with Susan P.
Koleman's, “Race for the Cure” She will be carrying her pink bat that
sports her name and team. She also will be featured in a story on a
Lifetime TV special, “ A League of My Own”.
Norine also plays on a classy Las Vegas football team “The Showgirlz”
along with Veronique and Tig. Norine and Tig feels like NFL major league
pro-players and says that it is harder to play football than it is to
play baseball. Tig has to work hard at this.

Tig, Tony and Norine

Veronique
They are so excited to be on the field as they feel the adrenalin rush.
It is an awesome feeling, despite the injuries they incur during the
games. Tig had a long list of injuries and said that was all in one
season. Veronique has played all sports since she was 12 years old and
she presently is an offensive tackle for “The Showgirlz”. Tig is a
middle line backer. Keep your eye out for their home games and go and
watch them play.
