Tim
Piper as John Lennon
Tim Piper shares the story of John Lennon’s life, his music, and appears
as the legendary music icon
www.adayinhislife.com in his show “A Day In His Life” at the
Suncoast Hotel.
“A Day in the Life” presents Lennon’s struggle as a young boy after his
father left. Along with the video, Tim sings the Beatle songs and
changes clothes for each by gone era.

Tim is so real and authentic as a look and soundalike you feel you are
watching the former Beatle. In fact, Piper was cast as Lennon in the CBS
TV special “The Linda McCartney Story”, on E Channel’s “The John Lennon
Story”, “Beatle Wives” and he has also signed on to sing John Lennon’s
vocals for “In His Life: The John Lennon Story”.

In 1957 Paul McCartney met John and joined his band “The Quarrymen”
George Hamilton joined in February 1958 and in June 1962 Ringo Starr
came aboard replacing Pete Best. Each member was instrumentalist with
Paul playing over 40 musical instruments.

The Beatles composed over 240 songs, most of which were about love,
peace, freedom and imagination. To this day the songs remain in our
hearts and in our minds. Not only did John compose songs, he also was a
sketch artist and I found his art work to be fascinating.

Tim’s band “Working Class Hero” consists of Greg Piper as George
Harrison and Tim’s brother on bass guitar. In 1988 Greg began touring
professionally in “Revolution: The Beatles Tribute. Gregg is a graphic
and multimedia producer and also an exceptional guitarist. With a smile
on his face during the entire performance, it is obvious he loves what
he does.
Don Butler as Paul McCartney on lead Guitar is an instrumental wizard.
He has performed with 1960’s legends Gordon Waller and Chris Montez, who
toured with the Beatles in the U.K and also performed with Bruce Willis
and Gregg Allman.
Les Perez sings and plays the drums as Ringo Starr. The group tours the
world as a Beatles tribute band. Some have said they are actually better
than the Beatles.
In 2004 the tribute band headlined Liverpool’s annual “International
Beatle Week”, performing in front of 350,000 fans. They are all
outstanding musicians and their love of their work shines through.
After the evening’s performance, Tim was very gracious and personable
and took time for a meet and greet and photo opportunity with his fans.
As everyone left the showroom, smiles could be seen on everyone’s face
as the songs were still playing in our minds .
