Moody
Scott
Moody Scott is an extraordinary recording artist, performer, songwriter
and radio broadcaster. He has produced and recorded the CD “Simply
Moody” which is selling here and in Europe. Called “The Legendary Moody
Scott”, he performs R & B, Soul and Blues music and has played to
audiences all over the world for 40 years. His young career started when
he was 10 years old when he sang gospel in his hometown of Louisiana.
His older sister gave him that name when he was 3 years old. Moody first
started singing with the “Star Light” gospel singers.

several years he went onto a solo career, thrilling audiences wherever
he performed.
The song “We Gotta Bust Outta the Ghetto” was a song Moody co-wrote
about the drug abuse in this country and his 60’s and 70’s music were
hits in the deep south and in Europe. Moody has appeared with other
greats such as Aaron Neville, Buckwheat Zydico, John Lee Hooker Jr. and
the Dixie Cups. His exciting career starting at the age of 19 when he
recorded his first album on Red Bird Daisy Records. Lieber & Stoller,
icons in the music business, produced the Greatest American Hits in the
early 60’s.

Moody and Nikki
Moody is called a legend because he is one of the last of the few
remaining artists from the R & B soul markets of the 60’s & 70’s. His
first recording was “Everybody Clap Your Hands”, in which he added R & B
and made it a hit.
Moody has played the Las Vegas Clubs and Festivals. His last festival
was at the Casa Blanca in Mesquite where he was the headliner. He has
performed at the annual blues festival at the Cannery, Lake Las Vegas
and the Monterey Blues Festival and is still a favorite in the European
market. David Coles Magazine is featuring him in a 6 page spread and
after the release, he is planning a European tour.

Moody’s friend, Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman has proclaimed a “Moody
Scott Day” in which he was presented with plaque. Moody has great
admiration for Oscar and said the room lights up when the Mayor comes
in. Another plaque Moody holds dear to his heart is for his son’s team
that he helped coach, which placed first in the state.


Kevin Scott is 20 years old and performs as Mr. Royal Blue in his own
Hip Hop Group. He has inherited the good looks and talent from his
father. While at Victorville Junior College Kevin played football and is
now pursuing a career as a Hip Hop artist. Along with talent, his charm
will get him a long way in the music business. Kevin is recording a

Moody proudly wears 5 hats, as recording artist, producer, song writer,
author, and chef. He calls himself a professional chef specializing in
Creo Cajun cooking. Shrimp, gumbo, crabs and sweet potato pie will be
some of the things he will be cooking when he has a home backyard
barbeque this summer, Moody will invite all his friends to celebrate and
I am invited. I can’t wait to taste his Cajun smoked turkey. He claims
that people moan and groan as they are eating it.
In the works will be a new CD and the release of an e-book on the story
of his life. Moody will narrate it himself with music in the background.
As a celebration of his 40 years in show business, he wants to have a
big gala of musicians and bands. Moody has a 6 man band, “Positive
Force” consisting of Bass, Guitar, drum, keyboard and 2 horns
Moody teamed up with Lorraine Hunt’s son, Ron Mancuso on a new TV
project. The pilot is called “True Vegas” which tells the story of the
way it was with the mob in Las Vegas. He sings the background song.
