Eighteen of Southern Nevada’s bravest firefighters participated in the 11th Annual Fire & Rain Firefighter Bachelor Auction on Saturday, June 19 at RAIN Nightclub inside the Palms Casino Resort. The event attracted 550 attendees and raised $50,000 for the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation.

Each bachelor prize package included a variety of luxurious items ranging from hotel suites and dinners for two, to show tickets, spa packages and jewelry.

“A lot of hard work went into making this event a big success,” said Warren Whitney, public information officer for the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation. “We received a tremendous amount of support from our community partners, bachelors, volunteers and those who attended our event. Thanks to their help, the Burn Foundation was able to raise $50,000 which will fund our programs and services throughout the year.”

Tim Wolfe was actually auctioned off twice for $4,300 each, and after a fierce bidding war raised a total of $8,600 for the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation.
