Golden Gaming at Sierra Gold Tavern Celebrates Launch of Beer and Bites Club

Golden Gaming, the parent company of PT's Pubs and Places, PT's Gold, and Sierra Gold Taverns recently invited members of the press to an evening of great food and drinks, a chance to meet with Executive Chef Joe Romano and to celebrate the latest reward program, the revolutionary Beer and Bites Club, being offered to patrons.

The event was held Wednesday, April 14 at Sierra Gold Tavern located on the southwest end of the Las Vegas valley at 215 and South Jones where, as VIP guests, we were treated to a variety of complimentary, delicious dishes from the menu: Sierra Wings with Gold Fever, Sweet Chile, and Chipotle Sauces, Chilled Citrus Poached Shrimp with Thai Spice, Hunters Pizza, Pesto Pizza, Vegetable Pizza, Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos with Spring Mix in a Flour Tortilla, Pot Stickers, Caprese Salad, Boneless Wings with Hot Buffalo Sauce, Tenderloin Sliders. To top it all off it was virtually possible to pass on the amazing desserts to die for: Mini Crème Brulees, Mini Zookies (comprised of homemade cookie, vanilla ice cream and either chocolate or caramel sauce and whipped cream), and Individual bags of Fresh Cookies. Needles to say, everything tasted as good as they looked.

Golden Gaming's taverns has built a reputation for offering great food and beverages, slot play, a friendly atmosphere and equally great service to their patrons and that is exactly what I experienced during my visit on media night. The company really knows how to please their customers and they continue to come up with innovative new ways to make that happen. On that note, Chef Romano was eager to discuss the recently launched Beer and Bites Club program that reward returning guests points for every food and beverage made at is locations. Golden rewards is the first player reward program in the tavern industry to offer players complimentary dollars that can be redeemed for dining in addition to a benefit package that includes free slot play, direct mail incentives, exclusive access to concerts, special events, golf and spa packages and much more.

“We wanted to something for regular customers...so a few weeks ago we rolled out this reward program at all our 40 locations. It costs only $5 to sign up for the rewards card, and the customer immediately gets $10 credit as reimbursement and double points on your first trip back once membership is activated. A point is given for every dollar spent. A total of 1O0 points gets you $5 credit. In addition, member of the rewards program will be able to receive email blasts, promotions and invitations to featured events,” said the New York born Chef who has been with Gold Gaming for six years.

Golden Gaming not only gives back to its guests, in 2009 the company began a charitable partnership with Opportunity Village in order to further increase fund raising efforts for the non profit organization.

Here's some examples of Chef Romano's great food offerings we sampled at the evening's event:
