Dwight Yoakam
Genre: Country

Artist Info: Born in Kentucky and raised in Ohio, Dwight Yoakam learned how to play the guitar by the age of 6. Yoakam began his music career in Nashville and eventually moved to Los Angeles. Compared to traditional country music at the time, Yoakam’s updated honky tonk style was considered radical and attracted a more rock ‘n’ roll audience. Despite the difference in style, he has continued to chart in the country music Top 10 throughout his career and has been one of the most successful country artists since the ’80s.

The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards

Artist Info: Dennis Edwards began singing at 2 years old and has continued to perform ever since. In 1968, he joined the Temptations as the lead singer and went on to be a part of hits, including “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone,” “Memories,” “Cloud Nine” and many more. Edwards was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 and the Alabama Hall of Fame in 1999.

Jonny Lang

Artist Info: Jonny Lang is best known for his unique voice, guitar solos and blend of gospel, blues and rock. Over the past 10 years he has toured with big name bands and musicians, including the Rolling Stones, Buddy Guy, Aerosmith, B.B. King, Blues Traveler, Sting and many more. Lang’s latest album Live at the Ryman, which was released in 2009, includes hits such as “Lie to Me,” “Livin’ for the City” and “A Quitter Never Wins.”

Artist Info: Singer-songwriter Clint Black has written, recorded and released more than 100 songs throughout his career. To date, he has had more than 20 No. 1 hit singles and numerous Top 5 and Top 10 hits. In 2003, Black founded Equity Music Group, an artist-friendly recording company that launched his highly anticipated album Spend My Time. His most recent album The Long Cool EP includes hits such as “Long Cool Woman,” “You Still Get to Me” and “Everybody’s Talkin’.”

Sugar Ray

Artist Info: From Orange County, Calif., Sugar Ray began as a funk metal band and eventually morphed their sound, mixing pop/rock with funky hip-hop and reggae grooves.
