Storytime in the Square
Children can enjoy an interactive storytime in Town Square Park every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon. A storyteller will read from classic children’s tales and new favorites that everyone will enjoy. For more information visit www.mytownsquarelasvegas.com.

Stroller Strides Las Vegas
A fitness program for moms and their babies takes place Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 a.m. in Town Square Park. Stroller Strides® offers moms a total body workout while their babies are engaged in songs and activities in their stroller. Stroller Strides features hour-long classes that include a five minute warm-up, 45 minutes of power walking with intervals of strength and body toning exercises using tubing, the stroller and the environment. The class concludes with 10 minutes of abs and stretching. Babies should be at least six weeks of age to participate, and they can be up to any age as long as they remain in the stroller. Moms should wear athletic shoes, bring a towel or mat for ground exercises and any type of stroller. For more information and to sign up for classes visit www.strollerstrides.net/lasvegas.

fresh52 Farmers & Artisan Market
The fresh52 Farmers & Artisan Market sets up shop at Town Square every Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and features locally-grown, organic, sustainable and seasonal produce. Browse through fresh baked goods, gourmet olive oils, salsas, spices, sauces, nuts, handmade artisans and more.  On select dates, the market will showcase special events, live entertainment, chef demonstrations and a free kid’s art park. The Raffle, featuring Flash Mobs for Friendship
Best Buddies Nevada will host The Raffle, featuring Flash Mobs for Friendship, on March 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will support the Best Buddies mission of eradicating social isolation for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The festival will feature live entertainment, games and Las Vegas’ largest flash mob slated to take place at 5 p.m. For more information on Best Buddies visit www.bestbuddiesnevada.org.

MDA Muscle Walk
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is holding the MDA Muscle Walk on March 16. Registration for the 1.5 mile walk starts at 7 a.m. and the walk begins at 8:30 a.m. MDA is the nation’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to funding neuromuscular disease research, health care services and education. The walk is to honor adults and children with any of the more than 40 muscle diseases in MDA’s program. The walk is also to raise funds to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association foster research and provide vital services to families affected by neuromuscular disease. Shelby American’s 50th Anniversary

Hop & Shop: Easter Egg Hunt and Family Festival
Families can visit Town Square on March 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a free Hop & Shop Easter event with a variety of activities for children to enjoy.  Free Easter egg hunts take place throughout the day for children ages one to 10 years old starting at 10 a.m. in Town Square Park. Egg hunt registration begins at 8 a.m. and is required for participation. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos. Please have children bring their own baskets to carry their treats. New Vista Community Wine Walk
The 2013 Wine Walk season begins on April 27 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The first of four walks, this Wine Walk will showcase a variety of food and wine throughout Town Square Park. Each walk will feature 20 different wines for sampling and the cost is $25 per person for tickets bought in advance. Day of the event tickets are $30 per person or two for $50. The walks are organized by New Vista Community, a local charity committed to providing equal opportunities and support to intellectually challenged people of all ages so that they may experience life to the

April 6
Klip it For Kidz
Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada along with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF) will host the 5th annual Klip it for Kidz on Saturday, April 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Town Square in the Northwest parking area near Guitar Center. The event benefits NCCF's 40 programs and services for critically ill children and adults touched by cancer living in Southern Nevada. The event is free and open to the public and will include entertainment, food, family fun and exhibitions from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Local professional hair stylists will be shaving heads and cutting hair that will be donated to Wigs for Kids. The event will also feature the annual Parade of Courage led by a children's marching band presenting and honoring NCCF children and their families who fight a daily battle against disease. Cadillac Through the Years
Join Findlay Cadillac and The Las Vegas Cadillac & LaSalle Club for a display of Cadillac vehicles from the past several decades. More than 60 Cadillacs will be on display on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Town Square Park, Town Square West and the Northwest Parking lot.  Browse through vintage models, classic styles and new models. The show is free and open to the public and includes live music, Cadillac art exhibits and raffles throughout the day.
 
April 27
Grant a Gift Autism 5k Walk/Run for Hope
Celebrate Autism Awareness Month on April 27 from 7:30 a.m. to noon during the Grant a Gift Autism 5k Walk/Run for Hope and support families affected with autism in Southern Nevada. Activities include an Autism resource fair, balloon artists, face painting, awards and entertainment in Town Square Park. All proceeds benefit the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation for Southern Nevada. Grant a Gift is a charity that helps children under 18 affected by autism and the families who care for them. Its mission is to promote early intervention and ongoing support services for the child and family, so that the children can grow up as productive and independent members in the community and have a better quality of life. May 11
Las Vegas 5k
Get in gear for this year’s Las Vegas 5K that starts and ends at Town Square.  Participants can gather in the shopping center’s Northwest parking lot at 8 a.m. to kick off the race. The post
race expo will take place in the same location. Registration is $35. Proceeds will benefit the Southern Nevada YMCA. The event includes a two day expo, prizes and entertainment for all. To register, visit www.LasVegas5K.com.

Walk In Your Party Dress
Patty’s Closet wants you to put on your favorite dress for its Walk in Your Party Dress event that will benefit Children First of Southern Nevada. The one mile walk around Town Square kicks off at 8:30 a.m. and registration is at 8 a.m. Southern Nevada Children First (SNCF) is a non-profit organization created to mentor, educate and train homeless, pregnant and parenting youth and young adults. May 18
Dress For Success
Dress for Success Southern Nevada is hosting the second annual Power Walk on May 18 at Town Square. The Power Walk starts at 8:30 a.m. and will include a 5k run and 1-mile walk.
Dress for Success Southern Nevada empowers women in need by providing them with professional clothing, resources and networking opportunities to better themselves and gain financial independence. June 6 -August 22
Movies in the Square
Town Square’s summer movie series will return to Town Square Park with free entertainment for the whole family from June 6 through August 22. Enjoy family friendly G & PG movies on a giant 25 ft. by 35 ft. screen. Admission is free, and seating is on a first come first serve basis.
