2014-2015 Season

My Children! My Africa!
- Venue: Black Box
- Dates: September 19 – 28, 2014
- Synopsis: The great South African playwright, Athol Fugard, confronts the tragedy of apartheid in his native land in this compelling tale about the efforts of a humble and humane black teacher in a segregated township to persuade just one young person that education, not violence is the answer to South Africa’s problems. Written by Athol Fugard.

Nevada
- Venue: Judy Bayley Theatre
- Dates: October 10 – 19, 2014
- Synopsis: Nevada – in this memory play of the same name – is a place of discovery and dreams, of having and losing, of hope and discouragement. It is a place where the central character, his best friend and his girlfriend come to the end of their journey. Written by David Kranes.

The Last Five Years
- Venue: Judy Bayley Theatre
- Dates: November 6 – 9, 2014
- Synopsis: An emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. The show’s unconventional structure consists of Cathy telling her story backwards while Jamie tells his story chronologically. The two characters meet only once, at their wedding in the middle of the show. Written by Jason Robert Brown.

As You Like It

- Venue: Black Box Theatre
- Dates: December 5 – 14, 2014
- Synopsis: Uncertain of their standing in court and fearing for their lives, Rosalind and Orlando are forced into exile in the Forest of Arden, only to become entangled in a beguiling game of love, lust, and mistaken identity. One of Shakespeare’s great comedies, As You Like it subverts the traditional rules of romance, confusing gender roles, nature, and politics. Written by William Shakespeare.

Six Characters in Search of an Author
- Venue: Judy Bayley Theatre
- Dates: February 20 – March 1, 2015
- Synopsis: In this play, Pirandello explores the relationship between authors, their characters, and theatre practitioners. The main character, a Father, is tortured since his thoughts, no matter how brilliant, are crippled by his emotions. Father is the strong character through which Pirandello allows us the insight needed to come to grips with the probe and its message for all six characters and its author. Written by Luifi Pirandello.

Collaboration with Cockroach Theatre
- Venue: Black Box Theatre
- Dates: March 19 – 22, 2015
- To Be Determined

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
- Venue: Judy Bayley Theatre
- Dates: May 1 - 10, 2015
- Synopsis: An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home life, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially fake) words hoping to never hear the soul crushing, pout inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter, one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box. Written by Rebecca Feldman.
