O”, the aquatic masterpiece by Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio, celebrated its 10 millionth audience member. On what was the 5,626th performance, on Wednesday, August 4th at 7:30pm, Kathy Smogowicz from Connecticut was brought on stage before the opening curtain by the show’s two clowns and awarded the honor and prizes.

Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay celebrated Shark Week with a remarkable 10-Year Birthday milestone when the attraction welcomed its 10 millionth guest. Their mother and father, part of Siegfried & Roy’s breeding program, are carriers of the rare recessive gene necessary to produce white offspring. The cubs were brought to the Secret Garden in an effort to support Siegfried & Roy’s never-ending quest of conservation and their lifelong dedication to saving these magnificent white tigers for future generations of mankind to enjoy and cherish. Guests can see these rare and adorable cubs in a special nursery created just for them.Daily nursery hours for the tiger cubs are 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and are subject to change. Admission prices are $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 4 – 12. Children three and under are free.

Singer Wynter Gordon performed her hit song “Dirty Talk” at Blush Boutique Nightclub. After singing a few more songs she headed over to Surrender Nightclub. Also partying at Surrender was Jill Zarin, star of Bravo's “The Real Housewives of New York City,” with old friend Carla Pellegrino, the Executive Chef of Rao's at Caesars Palace.

Top 9, hailing from Russia, went home with the gold in the inaugural Ultimate B-Boy Championship, the global break-dancing competition at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Immediately following the competition, which represented countries such as Brazil, South Korea, Japan, France and the United States, the teams made their way to the legendary nightclub Studio 54. Eager to dance and mingle with the sexy clubgoers in Studio 54, the teams were full of energy on the red carpet in anticipation of a wild night of celebration.

After briefly posing for photos with fans, the teams entered the iconic Studio 54 where they danced the night away to beats dropped by the infamous DJ Skribble. Joining the competitors at Studio 54 were the judges from the contest, along with legendary b-boy champion from the Rock Steady Crew and host of the championship, Mr. Freeze.

Actor and funny man Steve Zahn enjoyed a performance of “X” Burlesque at Flamingo Las Vegas.

Rap artist Kid Sister hosted at TAO Beach for Beatport Beach Party Sunday. She surprised the packed crowd, performing two songs including her underground club hit “Pro Nails”.

Monday night marked the premiere of ABC’s new series Bachelor Pad and two of the reality show’s contestants marked the occasion at Hussong’s Cantina inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. Juan Barbieri from The Bachelorette Season 5 and Michele Kujawa from The Bachelor Season 14 joined friends and fans to watch the show.

Fans stopped by Hussong’s for autographs and photos. The two quickly alienated the rest of the cast and were voted off by their housemates in the first episode, missing out of the chance to win $250,000. It seems all was not lost as romance clearly sparked from their time together. After dinner the party continued in the club with DJ Vice and DJ Eye providing the soundtrack for the night. DJ Eye’s father, famed producer Jimmy Iovine came straight from the Lady Gaga concert to hear his son spin.

The surprise of the night came after LAVO’s owners were presented with a cake commemorating the anniversary.

A slew of celebs including Kardashian and Stacy Keibler made their way to the DJ booth and Kim even got on the mic to congratulate LAVO and wish owner Noah Tepperberg a happy birthday. Also spotted in the club celebrating the anniversary were Robert Iler, David Spade and Kevin Farley. Rob Thomas and his wife Marisol partied at a VIP table on the LAVO stage until after 2 am, when he left to prep for his Saturday concert.

Saturday night capped off LAVO’s anniversary weekend and the birthday of TAO Group partner Noah Tepperberg as a large group took over the dining room for a feast under the watchful eye of TAO’s famed Buddha. Spotted toasting the celebratory weekend were Kevin Connolly, Brandi Glanville, Stephanie Pratt, Anthony Mackie, Clifton Collins Jr., and photographer Terry Richardson. Bob Saget dined nearby and made certain to say hello to his Entourage co-star Connolly. The biggest surprise of the night came when Lady Gaga entered the Asian Bistro. The chart topper known for her unusual outfits did not disappoint, parading through the restaurant in sky high heels and poufs of lace, with lace veils covering her face. She dined with her entourage and security.

The party continued upstairs in the nightclub as celebs and friends from around the world gathered for Tepperberg’s birthday. The soundtrack for the night was provided by DJ Vice and Ravi Drums. Joining the party in the club were Stacy Keibler, Josh Henderson and Kim Kardashian. Also spotted in the club was Antione Wright from the Sacramento Kings.

Sunday, August 15, LAVO’s second anniversary weekend was capped off with a wedding at TAO Beach. Giuliano Scortecci and Heather Leigh Sosaman of Southern California exchanged vows in a ceremony conducted by TAO Beach’s own Marklen Kennedy, who is ordained by the Universal Life Church. Reality television star Stephanie Pratt served as the witness and took photos with the happy couple who married in their bathing suits in front of a packed crowd.

The couple came to Vegas to get married and just happened to be at Tao Beach on Sunday when in conversation with Marklen they learned that they could actually get married at the hot spot. When asked to serve as a witness, Pratt didn’t hesitate for a second stating, “this is the greatest place on earth” while jumping up and down. “So many weddings happen in Vegas and to be a part of a ceremony in a place most known for couples committing themselves to one another, whether it be at a small chapel off the Strip or at TAO Beach during Beatport Sunday was pretty amazing,” said Pratt.

LAVO’s two year anniversary weekend wrapped up with a bang. Cali Swag District surprised the packed club with an impromptu performance of their smash hit “Teach Me How to Dougie.” The group first dined at LAVO before popping into the nightclub and jumping on stage where they entertained the crowd and wished owner Noah Tepperberg a happy birthday.

Bob Saget arrived with a group of friends.

Also spotted in the club were Kenneth Cole and Todd English.

Over at TAO, Susan Lucci dined with her husband and friends.

Mixed martial arts fighter, Urijah Faber relaxed at Palms Pool & Bungalows at Palms Casino Resort with four friends around 1:30 p.m.

Returning to N9NE Steakhouse for a second night was Victor Rasuk, actor from HBO series How To Make It In America. Rasuk came in with two friends for a quick dinner.

Also at the restaurant, was NBA player, Albert “Al” Harrington, who was accompanied by five others.

Stephanie Pratt of The Hills and Josh Henderson from Desperate Housewives were spotted dining with friends at Dos Caminos inside The Palazzo

Monday night, August 16...

Current Seattle Seahawks broadcaster and former NFL quarterback, Harold “Warren” Moon, dined at N9NE Steakhouse inside Palms Casino Resort with five friends.

The reigning Miss Universe, Venezuelan beauty, Stefania Fernandez, attended the 7pm performance of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil after dining at Samba Brazilian Steakhouse at Mirage. Stefania is in town for the Miss Universe 2010 pageant, which airs Monday, August 23rd on NBC and will feature a performance by Viva ELVIS.

Tuesday night, August 17...

Clipse, the hip-hop duo, which includes Gene Thornton ”Malice” and Terrence Thornton “Pusha T,” performed their hit “Grinding” and other songs at Moon Nightclub inside Palms Casino Resort around 1:30 a.m. The duo sat at a VIP table with four friend.

Also at Moon Nightclub was actor and comedian, Michael Rapaport with three friends. He arrived at 11 p.m. after hanging out at the Playboy Club. Other celebrity guests included musician, Wayne Static of the industrial metal band, Static-X, with four friends.

Playboy Club inside Palms Casino Resort hosted the Playboy Intimates model search. Samantha Harris, a model who currently lives in Las Vegas, was chosen the winner. She received a cash prize and will advance to the finals for a chance to be the face of the 2011 campaign.
