Monday, March 8 through Wednesday, March 31, Miracle Mile Shops’ fountain will emit a constant orange color in between its regularly scheduled water shows in support of The National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Nevada Chapter.  Additionally, all money tossed into the fountain and the center’s indoor rainstorm feature during the month of March will be donated to the Nevada Chapter.

Hussong’s Cantina and Taqueria, located at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, is saying “Muchas Gracias” to Las Vegas locals by offering special drink and menu discounts Mondays for everyone who shows a Nevada ID or local business card.   Every Monday from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. locals can enjoy half off nachos and tacos and $5 fresh hand squeezed lime Original Margaritas, along with half priced well drinks and draft beers. Local ladies receive their first Original Margarita on the house, while local guys get a free tequila slammer.

Annie Duke triumphed against the crème de la crème of the poker world on Sunday, March 7  to win the 6th Annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship at the Caesars Palace Poker Tournament Room.  Duke defeated Erik Seidel, who has won eight World Series of Poker bracelets and ranks 9th all-time money list, in the tournament’s best-of-three finals to claim the championship and the $500,000 first-place prize.  Seidel takes home $250,000 as the second-place finisher.  The National Heads-Up Poker Championship is taped for broadcast on NBC over six consecutive Sundays beginning April 18 (Noon - 1PM ET).

As part of a spectacular tribute to nature's most beautiful season, Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens unveiled a fantastical new Spring exhibit on March 9 that showcases large-scale sculptural ants, made entirely of bronze.  Inspired by the social nature of these industrious creatures, American artist Susan P. Cochran created a seven-member colony that represent the ideals of cooperation and teamwork. The spring exhibit within Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is free to the public and will be on display March 14 through May 9.

Tony Sacca, the “Entertainment Ambassador of Las Vegas”  has settled on the name Embassy Theatre for the showroom at his new dining-entertainment venue,  Las Vegas Rocks Café located downtown at Neonopolis, 450 Fremont Street.

Bellagio has been appointed Darius Allyn, a distinguished member of the Court of Master Sommeliers, to the position of Sommelier for Osterio de Circo and Sensi.  Allyn becomes the fourth on the already impressive team of Master Sommeliers, joining Joseph Phillips of MICHAEL MINA, Robert Smith of Picasso and Director of Wine Jason Smith.  This honor further validates Bellagio’s commitment to excellence and establishes it as the only hotel in the world with four Master Sommeliers at a single property.

Preeminent disc spinner DJ Skribble hosted his new weekly Saturday night production, Freak Show  inside Studio 54 at MGM Grand on  Saturday, March 6.  DJ Skribble’s high-energy performances and unforgettable sounds gave club-goers a night of spectacular music, as the iconic mix master settled into his new home on The Strip.  The non-stop party and over-the-top entertainment had Studio 54 rocking all night long and into the next morning.  DJ Skribble   heats up the dance floor as he spins energetic tracks that transforms the club into a modern day circus freak show.

On the evening of  March 8, Eva Longoria Parker and the team at her Las Vegas nightclub, Eve, located in Crystals at CityCenter, donated 100% of the $25 cover charge to the Red Cross relief efforts for the victims of the earthquake in Chile.  Every guest was given a complimentary cocktail to thank them for their donation. Criss Angel, Angelica Bridges and Carrot Top, who all star in shows at the Luxor, hosted the event and thanked the crowd for their generous support. In addition to money raised through the cover charge, donations toward a raffle included an autographed Holly Madison calendar.

Comedian/actor David Spade will perform his 75 minute show, featuring real-life comical situations, at the Venetian Showroom March 18 – 20 & 25 – 27. Ticket prices are $65.75, $85.75 and $105.75 inclusive of tax and fees. Show time is  9 p.m.

The Vienna Boys Choir – young favorites who have performed for millions over more than five centuries with their unique charm and especially beautiful voices, will peform at The UNLV Performing Arts Center– at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 18 as part of the Charles Vanda Master Series. More than 100 choristers between the ages of 10 and 14 make up the four choirs which tour yearly worldwide.

The choir’s repertoire includes everything from medieval to contemporary and experimental music. Tickets are $35, $50, and $80 and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center Box Office at 895-ARTS (2787) or by visiting pac.unlv.edu.

Due to popular demand, Broadway’s triple threat Rick Faugno (pronounced Fawn-Yo), the original Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys” at the Palazzo, will reprise his critically-acclaimed one-man song and dance show, “Songs My Idols Sang (And Danced!),” on Sunday, March 21, at 3 p.m. in the 400-seat South Point Casino Showroom. Tickets are priced at $20, $25 and $30.  He’ll also be selling his new CD at the performance.

Actor and Broadway star, Mandy Patinkin performs a very special benefit concert - Mandy Patinkin: Dress Casual, with Paul Ford on piano - at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 27 in the intimate Judy Bayley Theatre to support the Nevada Conservatory Theatre at UNLV and Theatre of the Emerging American Moment (TEAM). Rampart Casino continues to feature entertainment from the Golden Age of Las Vegas with Drinkin’ Singin’ Swingin’  a high-energy original show featuring musical tributes to legendary icons Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin.  Ryan Baker (Sinatra,) Bryan Clark (Davis) and Rick Michel (Martin) bring the hits that made these legendary performers icons today.  The 90 minute show will be presented in  Addison’s Lounge, located conveniently on the casino level, at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27 and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 28.

Tickets for these shows can be purchased in advance for $10 at the casino cage or $15 at the door and includes one complimentary drink.

Nevada Ballet Theatre will present Brave New World, featuring three world premiere works: Song of the Nightingale, a story ballet based on the original Hans Christian Andersen tale, The Nightingale, choreographed by local artist Gail Gilbert; a fascinating new work by Wideman/Davis Dance Company Artistic Director Thaddeus Davis; and Cyclical Night, a tango-inspired piece by Nevada Ballet Theatre’s own Artistic Director James Canfield. This eclectic program will be presented on Saturday, March 27 at 8 pm and Sunday, March 28 at 2 pm at UNLV’s Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway. International singer and songwriter Jay Sean will host his 27th birthday party, along with a special performance, at Eve nightclub located in Crystals at CityCenter, on Friday, March 26.

Shakespeare At Play is presenting a production of William Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew.” at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 26 at the Village Lake Las Vegas in Henderson. Shakespeare At Play is composed of award-winning actors, directors, writers and producers that have performed in various destinations such as China, England, Canada and the United States. Guests are encouraged to bring a low-back chair to the performance. The stage will be located near the gazebo on the platform in front of Sonrisa Grill. This outdoor production  is FREE to the public.

The Flying Karamazov Brothers bring their unique blend of comedy, theater, music and juggling to The Orleans Showroom for two performances, March 27 and 28 at 8 p.m.  Tickets are priced from $19.95, plus tax

Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina was a popular venue for both Holly Madison and rocker Lita Ford, who stopped in to enjoy some of the Cantina's Mexican specialties at the Miracle Mile on Friday.

Peepshow star Holly Madison and a guest enjoyed a quick lunch.

Rock 'n 'roll star Lita Ford, best known for her hit "Kiss Me Deadly," and her duet with Ozzy Osbourne, "Close My Eyes Forever," was joined by husband, glam metal singer Jim Gillette, and their two children at the Cantina.

Saturday, March 6...

Actor Seth Green vacationed in Vegas with 16 friends, which included fellow Rat Race actor Breckin Meyer. The recently engaged Green had lots to celebrate this trip, including the return of his hit Cartoon Network series, Robot Chicken, and his 36th birthday which was was on February 8th.  The group started their evening with dinner at Society Café Encore. Shortly before Midnight, the group headed over to Blush Boutique Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas where  Green was surprised by the nightclub when he was presented with a Robot Chicken birthday cake made by Gimme Some Sugar Bakery.

Former Playgirl cover model and Los Angeles luxury real estate hunk Madison Hilderbrand played host to the official 2010 GLBT Bar and Nightclub event at Tabú Ultra Lounge inside the MGM Grand.  The Bravo TV reality star danced the night away with his friend Mervat Berry.  The two were seen dancing to hits by Little John and Ciara as DJ AXIS created the soundtrack for the night at Las Vegas’ hottest ultra lounge.  Throughout the night Madison was seen talking with Earl Shelton, managing director for Q Vegas while mixing and mingling with the who’s who of the Vegas GLBT community.

Earlier in the day Madison spent time at the Nightclub & Bar Convention and Tradeshow.  He also spent some time scoping out CityCenter’s residential components with a Coldwell Banker representative.  Madison’s whirlwind Vegas trip was filled with business and pleasure.

Wednesday night, March 10,  TAO Nightclub opened its doors in celebration of the Nightclub & Bar Convention.  901 Tequila was a sponsor of the party and the company’s founder Justin Timberlake was on hand.

Also spotted at TAO was DJ Pauly D of  reality show“Jersey Shore”.

Tennis star Venus Williams made her way to TAO after spending the first part of the night checking out LAVO with sister Serena. 

Over at LAVO rapper Asher Roth was spotted dining at the Italian eatery with friends.

Keisha Knight Pulliam, who played young Rudy on the Bill Cosby Show, and Venus Williams were spotted separately at Criss Angel's show.


Thursday night, March 11...

Asher Roth hopped on the catwalk at TAO and entertained the packed club with a three song set.  Before hitting the club, Roth, DJ Wreckineyez and friends dined at TAO Asian Bistro.

Warming up for his Saturday night gig, superstar DJ Erick Morillo was spotted hanging with TAO owner Jason Strauss, taking in the scene and the sounds of DJ Ross One.

Jason Alexander, who stars in The Donny Clay Experience at Planet Hollywood was seen with a friend in the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas.

Friday night, March 12, retired football pro Jerome Bettis celebrated a belated 38th birthday at TAO. Bettis was joined by former Pittsburgh Steeler teammates Kordell Stewart and Hines Ward for the celebration.   The group and friends took over TAO’s private dining room and feasted on a huge dinner in TAO's private dining room the group headed up to a VIP table in the club where mixed martial artists Gray Maynard, Ray Sefo and Jay Hieron were on hand to help “The Bus” celebrate as a Steeler themed cake in the shape of a bus was presented to Bettis.

GRAMMY award-winning rap artist Soulja Boy and his posse took the stage at Eva Longoria Parker's Eve nightclub performing a four-song set including Billboard Hot 100 hits, "Kiss Me Thru The Phone," "Turn My Swag On" and "All The Way Turnt Up."

Also in Eve's VIP section was Bryan Scott of the Buffalo Bills celebrating his bachelor party, along with St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson,  rapper Camillionaire, rapper Sliff Star, comedian Alex Thomas and comedian Joe Clair.

Saturday night, March 13,  former N ‘Sync star JC Chasez, was spotted dining at LAVO with friends including Shawn Pyfrom from Desperate Housewives.
