Before heading into The Gordie Brown Showroom where Gordie debuted new songs and impressions, attendees enjoyed the reception at Rush Lounge, where they were the first to taste the specially crafted cocktail, “Gordie Has Left the Building” – a nod to his iconic impression of The King, Elvis Presley.

Gordie, a native of Montreal Canada, has performed in Las Vegas for more than 27 years. Following a North American tour with Celine Dion, he began headlining at Golden Nugget Las Vegas in February 2009 in the state-of-the-art theater now known as The Gordie Brown Showroom. The charismatic performer has long brought to life show biz legends including Presley, Sammy Davis Jr., and Arnold Schwarzenegger, along with a superb five-piece live band.

Gordie Brown performs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in The Gordie Brown Showroom at Golden Nugget Las Vegas.

“I love sports, sports fans and great quality food,” says Rose, a Las Vegas resident. “My partnership with HIG Management and our restaurant’s location allows me to bring all three together.”

The menu created by Executive Chef Brian Littlejohn, includes an array of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts along with signature “Pete Rose Specials,” all using responsibly-sourced ingredients. The specials will honor the three cities that Rose played for, including Cincinnati Chili on spaghetti for the Cincinnati Reds; a classic Philly Cheese Steak for the Philadelphia Phillies; and a spin on Poutine for the Montreal Expos, topped with brown gravy and cheese curds.

The new Pete Rose Sports Bar and Grill celebrates Rose's historic baseball career with photos and art installations throughout the 9,000-square-foot restaurant, which is adorned with numerous high-definition TVs to take in all of the sports action.  The spacious full bar seats 35, while the dining room seats 250. There is also an outdoor patio that  seats 100 guests, offering a garden-like setting to enjoy dining al fresco while taking in the sounds and sights of the Las Vegas Strip.
