New Vista Opens Spring Wine Walk Events By Going White

The April 2nd Wine Walk held in the beautiful courtyard at Ravella at Lake Las Vegas , gave folks a chance to held charity and enjoy the luxurious surroundings and beautiful seasonal weather.

The fund raiser benefits  New Vista Community, an organization dedicated to empowering people with intellectual challenges, including Down syndrome, Autism, and Cerebral Palsy.

Empanadas, and Fish N Chips among others.  Vodka cocktails (think white), white wine samples and  beer were also available.

The afternoon event also included an option for those who wanted to take it into the evening. It was promoted as a white party so guests were encouraged to come dressed all in white for entry into a special raffle.   The event also served to showcase the gardens at the newly opened Ravella Hotel as well as some of the restaurants at The Village at Lake Las Vegas.

Lorena Peril of  the Luxor’s topless review Fantasy could be seen pouring wine.

Attendees walked from one booth to the next to sample the wines, beers and food options presented by nine restaurants and several wine and beer companies including  Bernard's Bistro, Sonrisa Grill, Rocky Mountain Chocolates, Rick's Cafe, Roy's, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, The Melting Pot, Ravella Cafe and The Auld Dubliner.

And for the women, there were the Australian hunks from Thunder Down Under who also poured and mixed with the crowd.  The internationally acclaimed male review appears nightly at the Excalibur.

The restaurants partnered with New Vista to do menu sampling which was paired with wines provided by Wirtz Beverage.

A small string orchestra, Phat Strad, dressed in white of course, helped enhance the general ambiance.

Many of the food stations featured active cooking.  Ravella Hotel cooked up a wild mushroom rigatoni with Parsley Air.  It was paired with tastes of Guenoc Brand Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay.  The wines were all white to go with the overall theme.

Attendees were also able to treat themselves to White Chocolate Fondue, Gulf Shrimp,

Entertainers from several shows on the Las Vegas Strip mingled with attendees and helped pour drinks.

New Vista will be sponsoring a wine walk at Town Square on April 16 and May 21 and at Lake Las Vegas on May 7.  These are great events to put on your calendar.  For further information check out .
