Steve Connolly embodies the “Spirit of the King”. In fact, that is the name of his show at the 4 Queens Hotel Casino. The showroom rocks as audience members clap along to the music of Elvis. Yes, there is enough of a resemblance to create the “he looks like him” buzz in the audience. If you want Elvis, you've come to the right place.

Steve Connolly

Steve has personality, charm, and a twinkle in his eye. There he stands in a pink Elvis type jacket singing Blue Suede Shoes. You know this is going to be fun. On to Heartbreak Hotel. While the music is unfortunately pre-recorded, it is strong. This is a show for Elvis fans, a trip to the time when Elvis was the King. Connolly takes us back to the days of the Ed Sullivan Show and talks about the big controversy when Sullivan insisted on shooting him from the waist up only. He gifts us with a bit of the famous gyrations.

You'll hear Hound Dog, Devil in Disguise, and Love Me Tender sprinkled with Steve’s Elvis-related commentary. It is Elvis schtick, just what you want to hear. Viva Las Vegas! Our Elvis heads off stage for a costume change, but leaves us with some great video to amuse us. He returns in black leather and for the life of me I don't know how he gets into the outfit.

The guitar he holds is more than a prop. Steve Connolly aka Elvis knows how to make music. Before the show is over you'll hear Hunk a Burning Love and Don't Be Cruel. Then there's Johnny Be Good. Are your toes taping just thinking about these songs?

Steve tells the audience, “I want to keep the spirit of Elvis alive.” and he does a darn good job of it. His sense of humor is warm, he has style and he has the “Spirit of The King.” He's Caught in a Trap nightly from Tuesday – Saturday at 9:00 p.m. At the 4 Queens.
