Ambhar Lounge at Tropicana is Place To Be on Sunday Nights

Did I mention how much I enjoy the talent in Las Vegas? Sunday night August 5 Skye Dee Miles hosted an amazing array of talented performers at the Ambhar Lounge at the Tropicana. The action starts every Sunday night sometime after 9:30 p.m. and goes on and on -- beyond midnight. There is no cover and no minimum making this one of the best deals in town.

There was so much talent that I apologize for any performers that I may accidentally leave off the list. Skye started the evening with that sultry sexy strong voice of hers. She's a bombshell and her name should be in bright lights.

Ray Hamilton Jr. is a chip off the old block in the most positive ways. Over the course of the evening we enjoyed Lisa L. Mack as well as the the keyboard playing of Vita Corimbi, both of Menopause the Musical, Bass by Joey Green who plays with Gladys Knight and bass by Chris Coleman, PJ on Guitar, and music by Matt from Recycled Percussion. It's not everyday that you see and hear a sexy female drummer, but there was Trish Warren setting the room on fire.

Stephanie Sanchez singing with Tara Palsha (VEGAS! The Show) dancing was one of the highpoints of the evening. Steve Heath and Bill Fayne accompanied.

Two sisters who call themselves Intrigue shared their strong singing skills. I love Reva Rice, lead female singer in VEGAS! The Show and she gave it her usual A game. Aretha Harding who sang with the Canadian Tenors entertained along with Francesca T. Camus. Jerry Jones – always a pleasure.

And the audience! Chris Phillips of Zowie Bowie fame along with talented violinist Lydia Ansel, Dayna Roselli, Magician Murray Sawchuck and his assistant and bride Chloe Crawford. Chloe has just started a run in Fantasy at the Luxor. Doug “Lefty” Leferovich, the not so bumbling assistant in Murray's show, their pal fellow magician Mark Bennick, Jeffrey Molitz, Tropicana VP Tom Recine, and Columnist John Katsilometes. Also cast members from Dancing With The Stars which just completed a successful run at the Tropicana.

If there is any down side to the evening it is that we don't get enough time to enjoy Skye Dee Miles, but we can catch her other nights of the week. No cover, no minimum and no end to the talent. Check out the Ambhar Lounge at the Tropicana every night, but be sure to get there on a Sunday night as well.
