money.
Club Riviera is a tiered club, with levels Gold and Platinum as the

DINING
KRISTOFER’S STEAK HOUSE AT THE RIVIERA, SIMPLY REGAL
For Steaks And Fresh Seafood, There’s Nothing Quite Like Kristofer’s
Las Vegas, NV – September 21, 2007 - Imagine the juiciest, most tender
steak ever sliced. Envision the most succulent and savory piece of
lobster. Now picture them on your plate. Yummy just does not pay homage
to a meal fit for royalty. That’s one feast no one should miss. Offering
the best in steaks and fresh seafood, Kristofer’s serves it up
majestically, seven nights a week.
Some of the best cuts of steak can be had at Kristofer’s. The Delmonico
or Filet Mignon are two of the best house specialties. Add a lobster
tail or two and, ta daa, a meal fit for a king. Don’t feel like having
steak? Opt for the Alaskan King Crab legs, Shrimp Scampi, Stuffed Pork
Chops or Cajun Jambalaya. Feel like having a couple of different things?
Get the Mix Grill with lamb, steak, and chicken.
Not too hungry? Then taste the appetizers worthy of monarchs: Spinach &
Artichoke Casserole, Oysters on the Half-Shell, Roasted Portabella
Mushrooms, Parmesan Zucchini, and the Napoleon, all delicious [and
vegetarian, if you’re looking for that sort of thing in a steak house.
After dinner or after appetizers, enjoy the complimentary house
specialty Smoky Bon-Bons. But don’t get too full, leave room for any one
[or two] of these exotic deserts, masterfully recreated for Kristofer’s,
Baked Alaska, Key Lime Pie, Bananas Foster, NY Cheesecake, or Hot Fudge
Sundae.
The most common answer [not verbatim, of course] to “What’s Kristofer’s
like?” is, “Kristofer’s is famous, the food fabulous, and the staff
first rate.” When you want to dine in the sublime as royalty,
Kristofer’s Steak House is truly the quiet king.
Please contact Kristofer’s Steak House (702) 794-9233 for reservations
and information.

HEADLINING AT THE RIV, TONY V DOES NOT TAKE STAND-UP SITTING DOWN
Joining Tony Onstage At The Riviera’s Comedy Club Are Mike Speenberg and
Jimmy Dunn
April 25, 2008 – Las Vegas, NV. Tony V started his comedy career in 1982
after attending Boston’s Comedy Connection. He wandered in one night
looking for a little stress relief from a high pressure job as a case
worker at the Somerville Mental Health Center and working his way toward
a Masters degree in social work. Recently graduated from the University
of Massachusetts with a B. S. in Psychology, it wasn’t long after that
little chance visit he took to the stage. Tony’s street wise humor
tempered with a genuine feel for the human condition quickly propelled
him to headliner status on the national comedy club circuit.
In 1986 Tony V was named “Funniest Person in Massachusetts” by Showtime
television. He followed this achievement with several performances on
HBO, A&E, Comedy Central and MTV. From 1987 through 1992 Tony V became
the “spokesperson” for American Tourister Luggage. Remember the suit
case smashing gorilla? It was Tony that gave the ape its distinct voice
and temperament. Touring extensively in and out of his high tech
forty-five thousand dollar “yak hair” gorilla suit, both Tony and his
alter ego had many interesting adventures. Sometimes, if prompted, Tony
tells the story about a meeting between The Gorilla, Spuds MacKenzie and
Ronald McDonald.
Network television was next on list for this Boston native. Spending
time in New York and L. A. paid off with multiple highly acclaimed
appearances on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, Comedy Central’s Tough
Crowd with Colin Quinn and several sit-coms including Seinfeld, Boston
Common, The Single Guy and Dr. Katz Professional Therapist. Having
proven himself a solid comic actor Tony then tackled dramatic roles on
television working with such notable actors as Eric Roberts, Ice T and
James McDaniels from NYPD Blue.
Mike Speenberg is the new American Comic. The product of a broken home,
extremely strange stepparents and the public school system, Mike started
doing standup out of boredom in 1998 and hasn’t looked back since. In a
few short years, he has quickly moved up through the comedy ranks,
working with everyone from Ron White to Mitch Hedberg in comedy clubs,
theatres, and college campuses all over the country.
Jimmy Dunn is one of Boston’s favorite comedians. Sports fans may
recognize him as the host of “FAN ATTIC,” a nationally broadcast show on
the New England Sports Network and from his regular appearances on the
Boston Red Sox Pregame Report during the Historic 2004 Season. He’s also
made several appearances on Comedy Central and Country Music Television.
Watch Tony, Mike and Jimmy live onstage at the Riviera’s Comedy Club May
19-25 at 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Call the Riviera Box Office for
tickets and information at 794-9433 or click on
www.rivierahotel.com.
Tickets are $24.99 plus taxes and fees. Ask about the special
dinner/show combos for added value. Children under 18 not permitted.

$40 OF SLOT PLAY FOR $20! RIVIERA’S WINNERS’ ZONE: ENTER AT YOUR
OWN RISK!
An Oldie But Goody, $40 for $20 Keeps ‘Em Coming Back Day After Day
Imagine $40 of slot play for only $20. Now imagine lining up a winning
combination and hitting $1,000 and picking out your choice of over 70
gifts! Wow! Sounds like it’s too good to be true? It is true and
probably the best deal in town with the best odds.
The Winners’ Zone is the area where $40 for $20 is played. The manager,
Kay Carlson, swears it’s the best odds in town, “Where else can you pay
$20, get to $40 in credits, possibly win a $40, $100, or $1,000 jackpot
AND leave with a gift valued at over $20?” Only at the Riviera Hotel &
Casino.
Many other properties [we won’t name names] have tried to imitate the
promotion, and while they are similar, none have remained a constant
like at the Riviera, nor have any come close to giving away more ‘bang
for the customer’s buck.’ The promotion is over 14 years old and has
many repeat clients. One customer told Kay, “I don’t bother going to
souvenir shops anymore, not when I can pay 20 bucks here and pick out a
specific gift for someone. Not to mention I have a chance to win some
cash.” That’s essentially the idea. Maybe the promotion should be called
“All Gifts Only $20!” Nah, why change a good thing?
Come on down to $40 for $20 where “Everyone’s a GUARANTEED Winner!” Play
a game or two and meet some of the friendliest and accommodating Riviera
team members, all there to assist in any way they can.
