on-sale date of tickets for The Nutcracker. A Las Vegas family
tradition, Nevada Ballet Theatre wants you to be among the first to get

This cherished and esteemed ballet has become one of America’s favorite
things to do during the holiday season. Under the direction of
internationally recognized Artistic Director Bruce Steivel, Nevada
Ballet Theatre’s professional company and Academy of Nevada Ballet
Theatre Youth Company will perform this holiday classic to thousands
from December 14 – 27 at the Judy Bayley Theatre. Tickets start at $39

Clara. Fritz. Herr Drosselmeyer and the Sugar Plum Fairy. These
characters have been a part of the holiday season for generations. And
it’s no different in Las Vegas! Continuing with an expanded performance
schedule that is unique to The Nutcracker, Nevada Ballet Theatre will
present seventeen performances upon the stage in the intimacy of the
Judy Bayley Theatre. With approximately ninety-five students that will
comprise the Nutcracker Youth Company, young people will fill the roles
of Clara, Fritz, mice, and soldiers. “This is a great opportunity for
our academy students to dance alongside our professional company of
dancers’ and gain vital stage experience,” says Artistic Director Bruce
Steivel.
The entire production will include over 100 roles that will feature 43
dancers from the professional company of Nevada Ballet Theatre,
including this year’s trainees.

About Nevada Ballet Theatre
Now in its 35th season, Nevada Ballet Theatre is the leading cultural
organization of Nevada and is committed to the highest artistic

recruited from around the world and include artists with international

Peter Anastos and Kathryn Posin. Emerging talent Greg Sample of Celine
Dion's show, “A New Day” also choreographed a piece for NBT’s Centennial
performance of Neon Evolution in October 2005.
