Carmen Electra Hosts Party at MGM’s
Studio 54 to Launch New Video
It was launch time for Carmen Electra as the stunning entertainer
arrived at Studio 54 Friday evening, January 4 to publicize her newest
Aerobic Striptease DVD, “Vegas Strip.”
The club was the natural choice as the video was recorded there. Electra
arrived in a sultry violet dress and posed for both photographers and
tourists gathered to catch a glimpse of the blue eyed beauty.
She kindly stopped to chat for a few quick minutes before entering the
club for a private pre-opening party with friends.
In discussing the new video she emphasized that a fitness instructor was
brought in to assure that everything would be done correctly. There is a
dance section with cardio on the DVD, but Electra hopes that what people
will take away is that working out can be fun. She emphasized that this
video puts a new twist on getting into shape.
“I’ve always loved to dance,” she said, adding that this will teach how
to put on a show and give a lap dance.”
I asked her if we need a pole to follow what’s done on the new DVD.
While we don’t need a pole, Carmen said that women could put the DVD on
in the bedroom and actually learn a routine on the bed. “In this one,
the bed is your prop,” she told me.
I’m a little older than this stunning beauty so I had to ask her if this
video is for everyone.
Without hesitation, she told me that yes, this video definitely is for
everyone. There is an aspect of it that is tongue in cheek and she says,
but it doesn’t push the line. Hmmmmm. Carmen said it was important to
her to make it fun for women.
This is one of a series of DVD’s that Carmen has done. She hopes to
continue doing them. Carmen began dancing at the age of 5 and trained as
a dancer. She believes that dancing is the best workout.
Carmen hosted a private gathering in Studio 54 prior to its ten p.m.
opening. Fans lined up to party with her and the first 100 people
through the door that evening received a copy of her DVD. Inside the
club, they could watch the DVD on a series of screens as they caught
sight of the sultry Electra partying with friends.
