Blue
Martini & The Adventurers Team up for Happy Hour

I stopped by the Blue Martini in Town Square in Las Vegas on Wednesday
August 20th to check out the Happy Hour get-together sponsored by The
Adventurers, Blue Martini, Coors and US Foods. The place was crowded
with multiple events taking place plus a crowd of people enjoying food
specials and, of course, the extensive offering of Martinis and every
other drink you can imagine.

The food selection was limited but delicious at the Adventurers get
together with generously sized shrimp, salsa, spinach dip and French
bread along with pita. The group was a mix of people who knew each other
and those who came to check out either the Blue Martini or the
Adventurers.

The Blue Martini, located upstairs has both large indoor and outdoor
areas. It’s currently one of the new hot spots in town with a young
trendy crowd.
Jeff kessler

I spoke with Jeff Kessler of the Adventurers to learn a little more
about the group. Jeff told me that the members are locals, both couples
and singles, with a core age of 25-45, but there are some members who
are either younger or older. “We give locals a way to meet people,” Jeff
said. He also proudly proclaimed that, “ We are always jumping out of
planes.”
This was the first activity of its kind for the group, but Jeff was
pleased with the attendance. The group was established to offer locals a
comfortable place to, “make new friends, experience exciting activities
and have a blast.”

Activities include sky diving, river rafting or hot air ballooning. They
also have hiking, camping, and other sports. In addition, they sponsor
quieter activities such as wine tasting or Vegas shows. The group
members support programs such as the Ronald McDonald House, blood
drives, the Special Olympics and the Race 4 the Cure.
