Toxic
Audio
Toxic Audio sounds like something to stay away from. TOXIC. Don’t stay
away. Go to the V theater behind Planet Hollywood and enjoy the a
cappella melodic fun of listening to five talented people entertain you
with their voices. No musical instruments, no electronic sound effects.
Just the sounds of their voices.

They are fun to watch. Their black and white clothing, excellent
staging, and occasional freezes in the action combine for a pleasing
visual effect. One bit in the production I particularly enjoyed was the
song “Dream a Little Dream of me”. They mimicked the sound of the song
at different speeds on the old record player. It was creative, clever
and entertaining.
Be prepared to join the players on stage as they do go out into the
audience for “volunteers”. Their rendition of the classic “Autumn
Leaves” included phrases song in English, German, Spanish, Japanese and
Pig Latin. More fun.

They are young, talented, energetic, and they connect with their
audience. Their repertoire is diverse with everything from pop to jazz
to classic standards and is sure to contain some songs you enjoy. The
show is clean and suitable for young people.
“Toxic Audio” performs Friday through Wednesday at 9 p.m. Tickets start
at $49 plus taxes and fees for adult general admission. For ticket
reservations, call the V Theater box office at 702-932-1818 or purchase
