Clark
County Fair & Rodeo offers Real American Experience for All Ages
The midway at the Clark County Fair

My husband Burt and I took the 1 ½ hour drive from Henderson to
Logandale, Nevada to check out the Clark County Fair and Rodeo. If you
want an experience that is true Americana, as far from the glitz and
glamour of Vegas as you can get, than this is it.
The Fair had its beginning back in 1965 when it was known as the Moapa
Valley Fair and was held at the Overton Community Center.
Clark county rodeo & fair sheep
There is a huge carnival midway, food, food and more food, a junior
livestock show, name acts including Emerson Drive, and young people
dancing and singing for parents, friends and visitors inside various
tents on the property. And a rodeo to boot.

This is a real fair with blue ribbons for quilting, flowers, pies, and
sewing projects. More than 80,000 patrons were expected to visit during
the four day run from April 10 – 13, 2008. For old fashioned, family
oriented fair and fun, check it out next year.
